Our first time visiting - we walked in to the bar area where we saw over 5 wait staff sitting at a table. We were immediately told to take a table - not offered a drink. After sitting outside for over 7 mins we asked another server if we could order a drink. We went various amounts of wait time to get what we ordered. Over all - a great view but the service needs some major help!
The staff was amazing. Props to them working under this particular owner. He needs someone to teach him social skills (he's incredibly rude for absolutely no reason) eta: this man is lying. I, personally called to resolve the situation and he literally yelled at me for 10 minutes and hung up. And, just prior, he told the band my husband is in they were banned from coming back because I complained about his attitude publicly. Perhaps the winery biz isn't for him) Just so you know, Ken, I left the review as soon as you walked away, bud. Also, have you been evaluated for autism? I think you may want to check that out.
Wonderful experience and great table service from Carol!
Visited yesterday. The food and wine were delicious and the atmosphere and environment was lovely.
As soon as I walked in however a gentleman on the team asked if I had a reservation. When I said no he rudely tried to convince me to leave.
I suggest you add to your website reservations recommended. As a first time visitor this would have been helpful.
I was able to sit inside and still hear the music however the first wine I ordered was out of stock. I also ordered a cheeseburger but they were out of ground beef.
I know it was busy on Memorial Day but better customer service would have been appreciated.
Amazing! The service by one person was so efficient and provisional. Very much appreciated her attention to our pup outside. We were lucky enough to stop in randomly after many quick stops to learn dogs were not welcome. And on a Thursday with wine and smash burger specials. The burger was divine and our choice of a chilled red was refreshing on a breezy and beautiful outdoor day! Great experience. If I ever drive through this part of the country again, a most def stop!!
Excellent Latin Music (The Emerson Magana Trio), and excellent food and drinks, great time all around!! Thanks to Ken and his crew we celebrated Maria's birthday in style!! Thanks Ken,

Great food & friendly service. Beautiful view from back deck and patio of old farm house. Perfect setting for live music and wine.
We celebrated our five year anniversary here recently because we got married here. Beautiful venue, just as pretty as 5 years ago.
My 3/5 rating is due to the food that we ordered. We always love the beer cheese pretzels, but this time the cheese had a paste-like consistency. We couldn’t dip the pretzel and have it covered with cheese, we had to “scoop” out the cheese.
Also, the pork and the beef brisket sandwiches tasted good, but the meat was cooked a tad too long because some of the pieces were very hard. Potato salad side was tasty though.
Good wine, good service, awesome view/location.
Great food, service, music, and views! I had the veggie burger and loved it.

My wife and I have been coming here since they opened and we absolutely love it. Lake Creek Winery is our go to place for “Day dates” to get away from the hustle and bustle of city living.
Gorgeous setting, perched on top of a hill, overlooking local farm fields in the country, amazing wines, delicious winery fare, and the staff treats you like family.
We enjoy the white wines, especially the Valvin Muscot. It is liquid goodness!! Tastes of fruit, fresh pineapple and melons, with a honey remnant which lingers after drinking.
The food is wonderful, the charcuterie boards, pretzels (who doesn’t love freshly baked pretzels), sandwiches, and a burger that is to die for.
Music on the patio in the warm months and an enclosed patio for the colder months (Patio heaters make it enjoyable). If bands aren’t your thing to avoid the music, there is ample seating areas on the property to enjoy the setting.
Not sure why people in the past have given negative reviews of Lake Creek Winery, but to a small business, with limited marketing/advertising budget, word of mouth is the best way to promote the business.
Ken and his family, staff, and patrons have always been there to make the experience what it is and why we have come here for so many years.
With great service, patrons, views, and wines. Lake Creek Winery is our “Go to” spot! Thank you to the Flesch Family and staff.
I really hate leaving bad reviews (especially for small businesses), but this was the worst wine I've ever tasted. Their location on a hill and beautiful deck exceeded our expectations. We ordered 2 tastings for a total of 10 wine samples. They came in small plastic cups (sign #1 this wasn't going to be a good experience) and only 2 out of 10 were remotely drinkable. I'm the person who will drink just about anything and there were some I couldn't even take a second sip of. With this being the first of 4 wineries we planned to visit that day, we were scared that MO wines were just not for us ... but all the other wineries were very good. Luckily the tastings are only $5/each and the setting truly is a great place to hang, but the other negative was the live band they had setting up (we timed our visit so to NOT be there during live music). Their sound person seemed to think it was comical to BLAST the music from time to time and it completely killed the vibe.
Ken and his staff are so wonderful! We drive past all the other wineries on 94. You cannot equal the family commitment from a small business! Beautiful venue, delicious food and wines, dedicated staff! You cannot beat the experience!
Awesome winery, friendly and attentive staff, beautiful views, the best live music, tasty food, wine and seasonal drinks! Time spent at Lake Creek Winery always feels like a visit with family and friends!
Came here for my sister's 30th birthday last night. Was quite excited to try something new and local. When we arrived atmosphere was great. Loved the scenery and live music. We arrived about 530, was told by our table that our waitress had the whole patio and we might need to be patient. Being in the service industry for 15 years I understood this. The waitress came and got our drinks after about 20 minutes. At this time I ordered my drink and dinner to make things easier and she wouldn't have to worry about it. After waiting an hour for our DRINKS( which were a bottled soda and a white sangria) she came over and asked if we needed anything I stated "yea our drinks" finally 5 minutes later we received them. About 15 minutes later when my sangria was gone I chose to go to the bar to get my own refill assuming it would be faster. It was. There were 3 bartenders standing there ready to take my order. If you've been in the industry you know that if the bar isn't busy running around then the establishment isn't THAT busy. I went back to my table. Now mind you it is 7 o'clock and we still have not received our food. After about 15 more minutes realizing that they close at 8 we all decide to leave and say never mind we will go somewhere else. I walk to the bar and tell who looks like the manager where my table is and that we need to cancel our food. I return to the table to finish my drink and gather my things. Well here comes our food. How funny that it magically appears. Whats worse is it was 2 burgers. We ordered 2 pulled pork. We laughed and explained to the poor girl who had to bring it out that it was too late. She dared to ask if we wanted to bring it home. Why would I want something I didn't order and looked like it had been sitting in the window for hours. Come to find out other patrons that were also leaving had experienced the same thing. Then to see the owners get on here and say continuously that we had low staff or some excuse is sad. No you have 4 servers and maybe 20 tables. If they can't handle that you need NEW people. I ended up going to a chain restaurant afterwards to finally get food and service. Which I was in and out in 40 minutes. Which stinks because I really wanted to support local. However if this is the service, I will NEVER be returning and I wouldn't waste my time if I were you.
