Great pizza, incredible boneless chicken wings and friendly staff!
The pizza was better than chain - but not as good as most dedicated pizza places. We had a large group and to accommodate us, we had to sit outside. Drinks and refills are self-service, which was quite inconvenient when sitting outside.

I've visited twice now and tried a variety of different things, and all of them were wonderful!
The Chicago deep dish is more like just a thick crust pizza with sauce on top, but it was good. The hand stretched crust is my favorite - that perfect balance between just slightly crispy on bottom, with a soft, chewy outer crust.
I don't usually dip things in marinara, but I love theirs! I found myself dipping the toasted ravioli (delicious on their own!), the mozzarella sticks, and the outer crust of each piece of pizza. It's thick, full of flavor, and not overly sweet.
We had the same server both times and she was friendly and attentive, even though one of the times we were there every table was full, as well as some of the patio seating. They also seem to do quite a lot of carry out orders.

Philly's is a quaint small Pizzeria. Our food was fresh and delicious. It was a nice date night for my husband and I.
