Really good food, and friendly staff. Highly recommend this place.
If you’re looking for delicious street tacos, like the tacos you find in a food truck on the west coast. This is the spot. I would recommend trying them all! The fried jalapeños were so good. I’ll be a regular here for sure.
Came in with a headache, they actually had a convenience store right inside and I got to buy a pill for migraine. They had really delicious non-alcoholic beverages, the food was delicious and savory. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Loved it! Rest is very authentic: they had products you may purchase that are usually used in Mexico. They had Mexican music on, moderate level.

El Jarocho Tienda and Taquería is a hidden gem in Maryland Heights for those seeking authentic Mexican flavor. The restaurant offers delicious street tacos, and the fried jalapeños are so good. The quesabirria is one of the best, described as flavorful, tender, and a large portion that does not skimp on meat or cheese. The birria ramen is a standout, and the taco meal is absolutely delicious. The warm tortilla chips and salsa are really good as well. The consommé was missing some flavor, but everything else was fresh, flavorful, and just GOOD. The food is fairly priced with significant value for your dollar, and the Taco Tuesday deal is great. This place is more than a restaurant, as it also has a convenience store right inside with products usually used in Mexico, and a nice selection of Mexican drinks and delicious non-alcoholic beverages. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the rest is very authentic with Mexican music on at a moderate level. The food did take a while to make, but it was worth the wait.
