The staff and management at this Applebee’s were very helpful with an issue I experienced, within their limitations. I dined in with a group of about 12 people, and receipts got mixed up where my card was charged for a tip that I had left in cash. Not a huge deal, as long as I can get my money back. The management at this location was helpful in resolving the situation, however Applebee’s corporate is either insanely cheap, or stupid. Apparently, either their card processor or Applebees corporate do not allow for refunds to occur onto a card. I would assume this is to avoid the processing fee on return charges to cards, as that is the only logical conclusion I can reach for a massive company to have so little capability within their system. It is truly insane to me that a nationwide chain doesn’t have the capabilities to refund money onto a debit card. For whatever reason this decision was made, it was not in the best interest of us diners. Again, this location was great. But Applebees corporate needs to be aware of how terrible a policy this is, and needs to change.

We did takeout and the it was perfect. Got everything right and the takeout girl was knowledgeable and pleasant.

My husband and I had severe problems here. As soon as we walked in the waitstaff looked uncomfortable and pretended to be busy while ignoring us. As we were finally walked to the table the entire restaurant, staff included stared at us with disgusted to angry looks to the point I had a panic attack and we had to leave. Public panic attacks are even worse when you're already being stared at. Awful restaurant. Worst Applebee's I've been to out of all the states I've traveled.

Great food and service when you dine in but carryout for some reason can’t get orders for us correct and we have tried it several times and only one time they have gotten our food correct. So no more carryout

Ok, I dont expect much from this chain however possibly the worst experience so far. Went on valentines day. Early it was not busy. Waitress didn't stop by for 15 minutes. We ordered margaritas, they are $9.00 each. So nasty i did not drink. The Waitress served appetizer before the terrible drinks came, that took 45 minutes. She did not feel we needed napkins, silverware. Ordered burgers and side of onion rings. She brought 4 rings over and said their cooking more, bring them soon. That never happened. Still waiting on silverware she brings dinner now well over an hour later. Asked if ok? Told her no, and she did nothing. End of service she bri gs a bill for $77.00 ! And it was not itemized! She didn't know what bill to bring? I was overcharged for onion rings, drinks etc. Further more. We are sick today. Part of the grill was in my burger, forgot to mention that. She was a mess, bartender had drinks to everyone but us, nasty atmosphere. Do not go there. Extreme apathy. If the owner could see this.

Lets be honest. When you're traveling, you want some fresh, hot food brought to you. Especially when you wait 25 minutes and the restaurant isn't busy. I was there on 1/13/25 at 930 pm.
This isn't that place. I ordered some buffalo wings. The wings sat around so long in the back that the sauce had soaked into the chicken and was completely dry, and cold. Completely disgusting, i would never return to this location again. If that is what its like when its slow, i can't imagine what its like if it was busy.
Never again Maryville, never again.

Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experienced. We got sat down and waited for 30 minutes watching our waitress walk by us several times. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this is here.

Worst visit ever. We went for a quick lunch break and it took over an hour to get everything. Bill was wrong and couldn't hardly see our waitress to get anything taken care of.

The food was great and the waitress did an amazing job. The host at the door was a jerk. Very rude, condescending, and not accommodating to us.

Dietary restrictions: I dined with my daughter and her family. 2 children have egg allergies. Allergen menu was not available online. Waiter ckd with manager several times. No paper allergen menu. No help given to help choose a meal for them. We came just a few minutes before 5:00 only 2 waiters on duty so we had to wait even though seating was available.
