Nice place for breakfast and donuts
Stopped in on a whim while traveling through to Iowa—and what a delightful surprise! This adorable little shop is both a bakery and an eatery, bursting with charm. We happened to visit around Easter, and the counter was a cheerful display of bunny cakes and springtime cookies—each one decorated with amazing detail.
We grabbed an oatmeal raisin cookie and a macadamia nut cookie for the road, and with the first bite, we were instantly transported to our grandma’s kitchen. Pure homemade goodness.
Enjoying life one sip, one bite, and one small town at a time.

Lovely locally owned business! The baked goods are delicious, and so are the other menu items. The portion sizes are huge, so bring your appetite! I try to stop by every time I'm in the area, and it never disappoints.
Love their coffees, danishes, biscuits and gravy!

This was our second early morning stop at Sugar&Spice. We are hooked!! The first time, we had a big breakfast, with great hashbrowns ever. This time, we had the biscuits and gravy. Delicious!

We stopped in on our way to a tournament. The place felt crowded even though there was only a few people in the place. The menu boards were not clear on the food options. When asked questions, the lady working there was not very friendly. We got sugar cookies which were very nicely decorated. We got a couple cupcakes that the wife seemed to like. There was also a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit that took maybe ten minutes to assemble. At first my daughter said it "wasn't worth more than four dollars" but after eating about half of it said "it wasn't worth whatever you paid for it" then threw the rest away. Based on the attitude, atmosphere and difficulty in understanding what was available, I didn't order anything for myself. Twelve dollars for two people today isn't too bad for a snack. I think three stars is fair but might be a little high. I have no plans to darken their door again.

We go maybe once week when not to crouded. Food is always great. They need an extra hand sometimes before school starts as I just cant wait that long in line. Gets hectic dropping off at 3 different schools.

Amazing fresh baked donuts that have tasted the same ever since I was a child. And you have to try the sausage and egg on a croissant!

My sister-in-law and I had an early lunch here. I had the cheeseburger special and it was great. We purchased something treats from their bakery before we left and it was all delicious! So glad we stopped here. Very cute and cozy atmosphere inside too.

I ordered a birthday cake for my hubby. It was beautiful and even better…one of the best cakes I have eaten!!
Usually after a small piece of cake from a grocery store it just tastes of nothing but sugar. The cake and frosting both were full of flavor!!
