The atmosphere and location are wonderful. Our server Katie (I think) was awesome.we ordered 2 medium rare ribeyes and while the flavor was there and it was cooked to perfection, the cut of meat itself was chewy and stringy which was very disappointing at $40 each. I myself could only eat part of my steak. I took the rest home because my jaw was tired from chewing. We did purchase shrimp skewers that were amazing. All in all it was good, but when you are known for the steak and everyone raves about it...A choice cut ribeye is supposed to be very tender.

This place was definitely worth the drive from Willow Springs, very scenic but a very Ozarks highway. Great place in the middle of nowhere, excellent food and drinks! Very nice staff...take a little road trip!

Pretty decent food terrible service and hateful waiters, it took us over an hour to get our food and the staff acted as if our presence was an inconvenience…. We were overall very polite about the wait but they were still very hateful and when we checked out the lady wouldn’t say more then 3 words to us.

We travel across Missouri all the time and decided to stop at the Beaver Creek for lunch. DON’T
Silverware had food remnants on them. Glasses had a person’s lips showing on them so this meant they were washed by hand and not a hot restaurant dishwasher.
Staff became enraged when we asked for new place settings so we turned around and walked (ran) our ass out of there so damn fast! You cannot run a restaurant like this. I have half a mind of reporting them to their local health department.

Do NOT go to this restaurant or support them in any way. The owner has admitted to killing stray dogs/puppies that got dumped there. The owner said it only took one shot per dog to humanely kill them. This is appalling and extremely disturbing and sad. There are other ways, but the owner chose to kill them.
