I took my family to Matteo's on Halloween night after the Trunk or Treat in the town square..the food was really good and very inexpensive..Hand tossed pizza, really good..the wait staff was fun, personal and eager to serve..it is 40 minutes from my house and I will definitely go back..

We do not recommend this place!! We've eaten here before and really enjoyed it. This time was not like that. We ordered pizza for my wife and I, while our son ordered spaghetti and meatballs. It took a long time, almost 45 minutes, to get our pizza but when they brought it , one side of the crust was completely burnt. Our sons spaghetti and meatballs came out 20 minutes later with the only explanation being, we were trying a different method of cooking pasta. After bringing the burnt pizza and the late spaghetti and meatballs out I at least thought some adjustment would be offered on the final cost but none was offered. We won't be back.

The Alredo Chicken pizza is amazing, the Fried pickles are amazing! Diffently will be back again when we stay in Mountain Grove again, well worth the wait!

I wanted to thank Mateos pizza for the absolutely amazing outpouring of love and kindness to my 6 year old grandson. As if the great food and pizza wasn't enough- they played a movie for us and treated us like family! And then- the boss took my grandson for the grand tour of the restaurant kitchen- showing and explaining the hugh mixer and all it does, even let him move the bowl around and showed him how it worked! I would gove 10 ⭐️s if I could! Far superior to anything we have seen. Amazing to have such kind people left in the world who cared enough to take the time to make one little boys day! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

They have really good cheesy garlic bread and marinara sauce. That’s all I had but it’s enough to make me wish there was a location in Springfield. It beats out the other places here imo. Great hospitality and service too.
Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza, cheese pizza, cheesy garlic bread, some pastas as well.
Kid-friendliness: There’s a small arcade and a room to reserve for parties.
Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp to get down to the arcade area.
