The Alredo Chicken pizza is amazing, the Fried pickles are amazing! Diffently will be back again when we stay in Mountain Grove again, well worth the wait!

I wanted to thank Mateos pizza for the absolutely amazing outpouring of love and kindness to my 6 year old grandson. As if the great food and pizza wasn't enough- they played a movie for us and treated us like family! And then- the boss took my grandson for the grand tour of the restaurant kitchen- showing and explaining the hugh mixer and all it does, even let him move the bowl around and showed him how it worked! I would gove 10 ⭐️s if I could! Far superior to anything we have seen. Amazing to have such kind people left in the world who cared enough to take the time to make one little boys day! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

They have really good cheesy garlic bread and marinara sauce. That’s all I had but it’s enough to make me wish there was a location in Springfield. It beats out the other places here imo. Great hospitality and service too.
Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza, cheese pizza, cheesy garlic bread, some pastas as well.
Kid-friendliness: There’s a small arcade and a room to reserve for parties.

They have added to the menu and OMG there smash burger is the best in town and for anybody that is a cheeseburger in paradise kinda guy like me it's getting hard to decide what I want pizza Pasta or burger there all so good
Had the supreme with cauliflower crust and buffalo wings. Wow. Both were top notch but the wings were on another level. In the top 3 wings I’ve had in my life. Will definitely stop by again.

Rolled into town after a long drive and wanted to pick a pizza up on the way to our room. Stopped at Dominoes but they had a 1.5 hour wait. Kept driving and randomly stumbled across Matteo's.
This place is amazing, it felt like I was walking into a place where everyone knew me and, even better, liked me. Ordered a thin crust chicken bacon ranch with pineapple and jalapenos added and this was hands down the most perfectly cooked thin crust I've ever had. I'm left wondering why anyone in this town would ever get pizza at Dominoes, much less so many that it has a wait that long? But, whatever, it worked out way better for us. I don't pass this way often, but if I ever do you can bet I'll be back in here again.

I'm pretty sure I got over charged small personal pizza 2 extra toppings 1 trip to salad bar 1 drink $40.
The food and service was good. I was really impressed with how the gentleman I assume to be owner interacted with his employees and customers.

Took my son in tonight to eat. Service was super super slow. It was busy I won't hold that against them too much. The building was almost uncomfortably warm and the waitress appeared to be soaked in sweat. The salad bar was sparse and the greens had seen better days. My son enjoyed his boneless wings he got close to 15 minutes before my sandwich. the sandwich was super disappointing. The bread was dry and burnt. the fries were super dark and didn't even get a whisper of salt or seasoning. The sandwich was dry and bland. that is what I settled on after I tried to order chicken and spinach pasta that I was told they no longer do even though it is on the menu and not marked or anything. I commend what they are trying to do but this is the third time the food has been consistently bland and disappointing. I really can't recommend this place in good conscience.

A group of high school friends met for dinner and conversation. We sat in the back room for privacy and had a wonderful evening! The food was great, our kids enjoyed the air hockey and skee-ball while we visited, we had a great time!
A small-town pizza place with lots of flavor. The atmosphere is relaxed and kid-friendly. The toasted ravioli is great. I like the crust on the pizza, not too thick or thin. Wish there was a larger beer selection. But other than that, definitely recommend it.
