Enjoyed a day’s outing at Cedar Creek. It’s a beautiful setting, so peaceful. Staff was very accommodating and welcoming.

Nearby activities: We played the 9 hole golf course. It was a bit rustic but a fun course. A beautiful walk

Safety: I felt completely at ease

Walkability: The grounds are spread out enough to enjoy but not so large as to overwhelm.

Food and drinks: Lunch was delicious. The chef described his soup and made it with love

The area is lovely. The breakfast was very good. However, the room was really dirty. I dropped something on the floor and made the mistake of looking under the bed. It hadn’t been swept for a long, long time. Part of the carpet was sticky to walk on. There were Lots of ladybugs in the corners of the room. One fell on me in the night!

Beautiful setting for mid size wedding where all the guests can stay on the property! Food is delicious and everyone can play on the par three golf course for relaxing pre or post wedding afternoon!

Warm homey place. Spent a nice day golfing and then having lunch. What a charming place!

Nearby activities: Before returning home, we stopped by a glass blowing business. They had beautiful ornaments, earrings, decorative pieces, etc.

Walkability: We walked 9 holes of a par 3 course. It was wonderful. The grasses were dense. You are rewarded with precise shots! What fun!

Food and drinks: For lunch chef made a lovely mushroom soup, salad, sandwiches, chips. The food was tasty. Set up as a buffet. We enjoyed lunch on an outside patio.

I flew up from NC for my nephew's wedding. The rooms were super clean, and the property is gorgeous. The front desk employee, Bell went above and beyond to make sure our entire group was comfortable and taken care of at all times. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The ONLY negative, an armadillo jumped out of the bushes and scared the *bleep* out of me! A+ ?

Came to Cedar Creek for a day-escape from St Louis with a group of friends. We had a fabulous day relaxing and playing a challenging 9 holes of golf on their par 3 course. Lunch in the restaurant was delicious and so nice to dine on the sunny patio. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. This is an easy short jaunt from St Louis and such a beautiful property!

Had a golf outing and lunch at Cedar Creek. What an amazing day. For a 3 par it was very challenging, and lunch provided by Chef Todd was truly exceptional. There was a chopped salad that was extraordinary and we couldn’t get enough of his homemade chips! The grounds are just beautiful. I can see why a couple to be married would choose this place for a wedding. So many perfect photo opportunities everywhere!

Walkability: Everything you could want is right there. Swimming pool, tennis courts, rooms and cottages, golf course.

Food and drinks: We had a beautiful luncheon prepared by Chef Todd! Can’t stop thinking about his homemade chips and the salad!

A beautiful and tranquil place to celebrate and enjoy yourself outside of your everyday life. Exceptional staff who accommodated all of my families needs. Would give 10 stars if I could.

Beautiful location.
I never could find the Deer Run Trail, but the Blue Bird Trail was lovely and very well maintained.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner were all excellent. Clean, comfortable rooms.

There were many issues 1st room we were given was not cleaned, then we spent our first night to wake with a note asking us to move to another room because they not have adequate staffing mind you it was and upgrade but having to repack and the refrigerator didn't work. All restaurants and bars were closed. Beautiful view nice pool but I would not waste your money.

*This review is only as a makeup artist and hairstylist.
I've worked 2 weddings here and the place looks really neat! The little town looks so cool. And they seem to have a good amount of accommodations. I've only worked in the big house in the dining room both times. It can be challenging with only one extension cord from one outlet in that room since it's an older house. And the lighting is not ideal. But as an artist, just plan for that ahead of time.
