My wife and I had dinner for our date night there last night, food was delicious and service was great. Great gin and tonic! We’ll definitely be returning...had no idea this place was there even though it’s only 20 minutes from home...nice hidden treasure!
Although there is a limited menu if there isn't a buffet being offered, the prices are reasonable and the fried pickles are to die for. On days when there is a buffet, there are a lot of delicious choices, including dessert and the price is extremely reasonable. Buffet dinners usually vary by theme, and we were there for Country Fried Chicken Night. There were other choices like hot dogs, burgers, vegetarian stuffed peppers, and plenty of sides to go with them.
Very cool place set in the midst of the Cedar Creek Lodge. It resembles an old salon on the outside. We stopped in for lunch & drinks and really enjoyed everything. Weather was nice enough to sit on the deck, service was good but we were there early. We were a party of 9 and they had just opened so only a few other people there. Simple bar type menu, we had burgers but they were excellent. Had great cocktails!! Glad we worked it in to the itinerary...worth the stop!!
