“This is our new favorite go-to Mexican restaurant! Truly family owned by brothers David and Gabriel. Delicious home made salsa! Big variety of Mexican dishes. Everything we have tried is absolutely wonderful. Located in New Melle. A short drive from Wentzville (I-70 & I-64) or Hiway 94 wine country and well worth it. Friendly servers. Say "Hi" to David or Gabriel. They're usually roaming around. “First time here, normally would go to a competitor in O'Fallon but they were way to crowded. We came further out and eventho we're on diets, had to eat the food and drink the Top Shelf Margarita pitcher.Very good spices and some heat where it needs to be. Our server was very attentive. We probably stayed longer just talking and closed it down. We took food and drink home.Quick wait period. Honestly I don't know why you weren't busier!“

“Came in on a Saturday night for a soccer game, sat at the bar, and they were packed. Two bartenders; Juliana and David helped me immediately despite how busy they were. Took my food and drink order and got everything within 5-10 minutes. I am thoroughly impressed and hope the business continues to thrive here. Will be back! 5/5 stars!“

I don't know who in the actual hell is the "manager" on Jan 28th at noon, but you sir are the most unhelpful person I've even encountered at an El Maguey. The margaritas are soooo good, and they do not skimp on the tequila! The food was fresh, hot, and had great flavor. Staff was attentive, and we had great service!“

“This El Maguey is absolutely stellar! Food is great but ALCOHOL IS UNREAL! I’ve never had a margarita slap so hard. I bring my boss and coworkers here to experience the El Maguey Buzz and they’re amazed! Every time I walk out the door I have to sit in my car for an hour before I drive… I swear there’s something magical in their margaritas! Great fun time!“
