12/02/2025: Our opinions and first experience in the Nixa restaurant was as follows: After the Springfield MO restaurant closed months ago, we decided to try the one in Nixa. The food was excellent, as was the other restaurant in Springfield. The vibe was completely different here. The background music was way too loud for only having 7 patrons. What was played was an assortment of modern genre' type music (Country Rap, really?). We both agreed the overall service was a 5 out of 10. Sort of cordial, sort of not. We were really disappointed and left after boxing up our food into our own re-usable to-go containers (we always bring these with us). Wish they had the same staff or the same attidude as the staff had in Springfield. The Springfield restaurant staff were always warm and welcoming to everyone, new or repeat customers. Maybe we'll try the Branson one next time. Dunno.........
Parking: Two vehicles in the parking lot when we were there, easy entrance/exit.

Dude, some of the greatest food, greatest waiters, and a BBQ atmosphere. I left with a full tummy, but the lines are long sometimes but the food is the best thing that will enter you're mouth, and if you are ever in town go to this place it will be worth your while.
The host/manger expressed her frustration when we ask to be seated in a booth. She tossed our menus on the our table and walked away. I told her if we were being an inconvenience that we could go to another restaurant. She shrugged her shoulders and kept walking. We left and will never patronize them again.

I just did a grub hub order for 3 orders of sweet potatoe fries, 1 pound of burnt ends, 1/2 pound of brisket, half a pound of pulled pork. Be aware that the portion sizes are small and inaccurate. Tasted fine but I have had way more food at competitors, no way the quarries are correct.
Some of the best BBQ I have ever had. Shared with family and tried the ribs, pulled pork and brisket. All three were incredibly good.

I was really good. I had the Moo and it was very good and probably the best restaurant fries I've had. Next time I'm going to have to focus on the brisket because it's what really shined above the patties. Per person, you'll probably spend $20.

Nice vibe, great service, the meat is primo (seriously, respect), but the sauce is too sweet for my taste (Is there honey in there or just a lot of brown sugar?) and the spicy version isn't spicy. It's basically the regular sauce with a mild hint of pepper.
But don't get me wrong, this was some good eatin', and a lot of good looking options on the menu I didn't eat. Would definitely go back and would definitely recommend. Worth the splurge if you got it.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely a family friendly restaurant.

Pleasantly surprised, we had very good service, and amazing food. I will say their tamales were the star for me, amazing twist on BBQ/Mexican. Highly recommend! Pork rinds were best I've had!
