NLA (Nixa Livestock Auction) Cafe is a little jewel just waiting for you to discover it. Friendly staff do a great job welcoming guests and delivering quick, kind service. Very clean restaurant with a few fun decorations and signs by the register. Can be busy at times, but that's how you know it's good cooking. Simple,tasty, home-style breakfasts of eggs, pancakes, meats, hashbrowns, biscuits & gravy, and the omelets are great, too. I think I've had about every breakfast item they serve, and it's always friendly, fast service and tasty meals served up hot. Come discover why the NLA Cafe is a Nixa treasure tucked just off the main drag. Closed Sundays and after lunch.

We have been living in Nixa Missouri for almost 6 years but never noticed this establishment. One of the service advisors at Creative Audio told us about this place. We went there and found it just next to a storage place on Tracker Road. It reminded us of the old traditional Diner. Food was great and a lot to choose from. Prices are competitive. Very recommendable establishment for breakfast, brunch, and lunch.

I usually don't post reviews but I ate here this morning for the first time and was so irritated by this place. I ordered bacon and over MEDIUM eggs and added hashbrowns for an additional $2.50 biscuits and gravy and coffee and water. The order came with a slice of ham and the eggs were so runny and the hashbrowns were cold and greasy, the water was disgusting only could take one gulp. The waitress tried to dig the ham off my plate with a butter knife when she brought the bacon on a different plate. She then proceeded to charge me for the ham which is $1.50 more than the bacon. I was very disappointed in the whole experience of the great Nixa NLA. Please don't offer your apology or excuses I will not be back.

We picked NLA cafe for lunch because of the good reviews and the pictures of home style dishes. We were not disappointed. We picked a breakfast special for an early lunch that was chicken fried steak, eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy. It was delicious. The owner personally greeted us and took our order. We had to ask her what NLA stood for and now we know. You will have to check out the restaurant and ask. You won't be disappointed. .
My family and I were traveling in Springfield/Nixa and found this hidden gem! Food was delicious and reasonably priced! Staff are friendly and very good customer service! Overall great dining experience.

We were greeted when we arrived and it was seat yourself, but unfortunately, the service went downhill from there. We waited awhile without anyone checking on us, while guests who came in after us—presumably regulars—were served first. As out-of-towners, we felt completely overlooked and like our business didn’t matter. It was a disappointing experience, and we won’t be returning. The lady that was doing silverware and drinks just completely ignored us and never helped us. Very disappointing since the food was good.

My team and I ordered to go from here for lunch today. We have tried this place several times and thought it was good. However, today we ordered 4 burgers all medium well. We ordered them medium well, because we have received burgers pretty done before. Well we get our food and the burgers are so burned we couldn’t even eat them. I had to cut off the bottom part of the patty to be able to eat any of it. We all ended up throwing away half our burgers due to it being so tough and burned. The fries were cold, flat, and not appetizing as well.
Fish on Friday is outstanding!
