I walked in and immediately the atmosphere was so homey and cozy, I was sat in a corner table and the tables have local businesses advertised on the tables which is always nice to see, our server was very welcoming and walked me through everything on the menu, it felt as if I were being served by a friend rather another server. The food was inexpensive and absolutely delicious, I had the french toast with biscuits and gravy and the texture, taste and consistency was immaculate! 10/10 would recommend to everyone! It’s right off Highway 160 👍👍

Great small town cafe atmosphere. Midwest Americana. Love this place and its people.

New owner - rude. Old man owner was walking around and gave ugly looks to us. Food is still good but he’s super rude. It’s sad because we were regulars- we won’t be back.

Hidden gem! I love mom & pop style restaurant, and this one meets the bill to a T. If you aren't from the area, you probably wouldn't find them sincethey are off the main area, but it is well worth looking for them. Very reasonably priced.

Stopped by NLA Cafe under its new ownership, and I’m happy to see it’s still the same great spot! Lorri, one of the new owners, now works there and brings a friendly, personal touch to the place. Everything feels just as welcoming as ever. Definitely worth continuing to support!

Two regrets, I wish I would have taken a picture of the food and why did I wait so long to eat here living in Nixa the past four years.

This place is AMAZING! We tried all different kinds of breakfast items and all of them were flavorful and you could tell it was all made fresh. The biscuits and gravy were phenomenal, I had the whole hog omelet and my wife had the western. Both were rich and flavorful. My son had a kids pancake in the shape of Mickey Mouse. Coffee was excellent. Atmosphere reminded me of Casper’s but the breakfast version. Can’t wait to try lunch!! Found another awesome breakfast spot in Nixa. If you are reading this and haven’t been, drop what you’re doing, hop in the car, and get there! Expect a wait, but it’s well worth it! All the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Kid-friendliness: Made Mickey Mouse pancake with m&m face for my five year old.
