I'm from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, just 30 minutes east of New Orleans.I have moved around since hurricane Katrina. (not my choice)I'm now in Nixa, MO and I have been wanting some Catfish. I found this place here in Nixa called S.S. Dockside Grill and Pub. I've tried other places here but I have to say it is really good. I had the Catfish plate w/slaw and fries. The alligator bites are amazing. If you order the cajun boil, you can, and we did ask for a spicy seasoning. It wasn't spicy to us but it was very tasty. The crab dip was on point, and the coconut ship was fabulous. The entire staff was super friendly and amazing.

We experienced a very enjoyable and affordable lunch on a Tuesday. Our waitstaff Cercy and Amber were friendly and the right level of attentive. The restraunt has recently introduced a ten dollar lunch menu, which had several nice choices and made it a very affordable lunch.
