Leadership fired a teenager for not feeling safe to drive in a severe snow storm. Shameful and selfish behavior on their behalf. Expecting this from people, nonetheless a minimum wage employee is ridiculous.

My daughter just got FIRED from Scooters in Nixa for not being able to go to work tonight. SERIOUSLY??? she tried to get her shift covered and had MANY conversations with management that was NOT helpful.
I’m sorry but my daughter is not going to put her life on the line for LITERALLY $12.50 an hour.
It’s insane that anyone would ask a teenager to drive on these roads to serve coffee to people who also don't want to be on the roads today. I am sure she will find a new job with better leadership very quickly!

This is specifically for my visit today 11/3 around 9am. Ordered my wife's usual peanut butter crunch blender (Xtra shot of espresso 1/2 sweet), 2 kids smoothies, and my usual strawberry vertigo. My wife said her drink tasted like a PB smoothie. I let the red haired young lady with glasses at the window know that and asked if they put the xtra shot of espresso. She just looked at the guy also working and made an annoyed face, handed me my next drink, and sarcastically told me to have a great day. Didn't even acknowledge that our drink was messed up. I go to Scooter's AT LEAST once a day.. I will not be going back. They charge SO MUCH for their drinks, it's not too much to ask that they taste the way they're supposed to taste. My wife gets this drink 3-4 times per week. She knows how it's supposed to taste. I'm not gonna spend that kind of money then be treated like a nuisance. I get that most of the employees are kids, and I didn't recognize the two employees but either way I'm done with this place.
