My grandson wanted to eat here for his 16th birthday! It was out of my wheelhouse but WOW it was soooo good! I am glad I went! The place was quaint and quiet when we went in around 5:30 but by the time we left it was super busy with to go orders and others seated in the place. The gentleman, guessing the owner, was excellent in making sure no nuts were in any of the food due to allergies! We were traveling and hungry and It was the only restaurant open on back streets.. it was close to closing and served us anyway. The food was great and I ordered pecan pie because it's my favorite and let me tell you it's the best pecan pie I have ever had in my life. The family was so kind. If I ever go that way again I will buy 5 pies.
Everything tasted super fresh and full of flavor. I had the chicken shawarma plate with rice, salad, and pita, and it all worked really well together. The lentil soup was my favorite and had a lot of depth to it. The place feels relaxed and the staff was really easygoing. I’ll definitely be back to try the desserts next time.
