We toured this distillery yesterday and were very impressed—not only by the place itself, and it’s NUMEROUS awards, but the cocktails we tried, the staff, the whole ambience…we loved it all! They have cocktail mixing classes which we will DEFINITELY be attending next, Music Bingo once a week that I want to try and their botanical gin is delicious 🤤 the whiskey’s amazing too by the gun was my favorite!
Restless Distillery Review:
An outstanding experience! The Irish whiskey was exceptional—smooth, rich, and full of character. I’m not usually a gin drinker, but theirs was phenomenal—crisp, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. And the vodka? So good I couldn’t leave without taking a bottle home. Highly recommend a visit!
I really enjoyed the whiskey flight and bought the best one! Thank you super friendly staff!
Our first time here, and the staff and drinks were outstanding. Will be coming back!!
Great atmosphere, wonderful crew behind the pours! Great cocktails to boot! Adam is a great tender of the bar and a gentleman!
Fun experience! Friendly staff and great samples!
I scheduled a tour with my husband for a date night. He loves Irish whiskey. We arrived a little before our tour to have some cocktails. I ordered the strawberry lemon drop and it was delightful. He ordered the cinnamon old fashioned. He liked it and I tasted it and really liked it too. Adam walked us through the tour and gave a very detailed history on the master distiller and her husband. We learned and walked through their process of making their spirits. We finished off with a tasting and Adam shared more history and background on each spirit. It was a great tour! I'd recommend anyone to do it. It was really cool to see all the bits of history and tradition that they tied into their location and their product. All of the employees were very nice and inviting. They all know a lot about their product and have great recommendations. We will definitely be back, just wish there were more food options.
Conor's tour was amazing - who knew that there was an Irish distiller from Belfast right here in Kansas City. He's an amazing guy and they're making some of the best whiskey in KC. Friday nights are packed and fun - and don't forget to sample their Irish Cream, it's delicious!
First off, the staff... so friendly, informative, and accomodating. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel like we belonged there and had been there many times before even though it was our first time.
Secondly, the spirits... very good. We were there for the poitin tour and tasting. A spirit I personally had never had. Quite interesting. Conor was a great guide and sorry teller. You wanted to love the spirit even before tasting it with the passion he relayed in the tales he told. Once I did taste it, I personally did like it quite a bit. Reminded me of an Agricole rhum as he described. The daiquiri they make with it is exquisite. Conor talked with everyone in the group and really seemed to care. I highly recommend visiting and I, for sure, will be back!
Had a great time on the tour. Had a traditional old fashioned and a whisky sour. Both were great. Tried my friend’s gin old fashioned and it was the best gin old fashioned I have had so far. Their whisky is great so I bought my favorite one. Gully Town Double Barrel

What a fantastic stop!
We were greeted promptly upon stepping through the door!
We sat at a table, the waiter provided us a drink menu, and provided a run down on their spirits. We chose to pick a flight and a snack box! The snack boxes are the prefect portion to pair with a flight.
Great service, great product, and relaxed environment.
Enjoying 1 sip, 1 bite, and 1 small town at a time. Enjoying everything!
Came in at 8:30 on Friday hoping we could still catch a drink before last call. Bartenders were extremely welcoming, did not rush us, offered tasters and we have some very delicious drinks!
We were lucky to be the only ones on the tour so it was really like having a private tour. Our tour guide was excellent, telling us stories of the owners, the stills, the labels and even working to predict the future demand for aged liquor. You could tell she cared a lot about Restless Spirits and enjoyed telling their story. The spirits were really good. We enjoyed them so much we took three bottles home.
Try the root beer float and espresso martini! The whiskey was flavorful and went down smooth.
The atmosphere and drinks were spectacular. Highly recommend the Irish Cream. Our bartender Adam was super friendly and helpful with questions about the spirits. This will be a place I prioritize coming back to whenever I’m in Kansas City. 10/10!
