Absolutely phenomenal burgers! The folks working there are very friendly and the shop feels community-driven, and hot dang, one of the best burgers AND chili cheese fries I have ever had in my life. Atmosphere is a small shop feel, and you can always find people hanging outside and talking late at night when they are open but the lobby is closed. In my humble opinion, it is the best burger KC has to offer, and they are open late! These guys know what they are doing and definitely deserve our business!

The best burgers in the city. 100% grass-fed beef. Fries crafted in 100% beef tallow. If you love burgers and haven't tried Tay's you are missing out. For an added kick, try the Sriracha ketchup and Sriracha mayo.

Awruff! Just had the best burger in KC at Tay's! 🐾🍔 Their double cheeseburger (made with grass-fed beef) was PAWSome, and the fries were absolutely tail-wagging good! As a Dog, I know a thing or two about good taste, and Tay's delivers. 10/10 Bones from this furry fan! 🐶❤️🦴

fry’s looked like they were fried with old grease looked and tasted disgusting. burger had no flavor taste like a bland patty. would not recommend. I spent 30$ just to throw it away.

The hours are great. They are open until 3am. Service was good, fries are very different but in a good way. Food was fresh. I'll try the Philly spot they have never trip here.

Ate here on our way out of town and plan to be back on one of our next trips! The burgers were tasty and not greasy. Service was fast and friendly and they have a cute little patio area! The chili for the chili cheese dog was also great! They also have a Sriracha ketchup that's fun.

honestly one of the best dining restraunts i’ve been too. The cashier was very nice and helped me fix my order after i had messed up and said the wrong thing. the food is amazing and the seasoning on the fries is out of this world.

OMG. We just had one of the best burgers EVER. 🍔🔥😍 Tay’s Burger Shack in North Kansas City — how have we lived here 12 years and never tried this place?!? Grass-fed beef smash burgers. Perfectly seasoned hand-cut fries. And don’t even get me started on the Sriracha ketchup. 🔥 It’s a tiny spot with awesome retro vibes, but the flavor? HUGE. 👏 Burgers come out fast, even during a packed lunch rush. Absolutely worth it. We’re already planning our next trip back. Pro tip: Go hungry. And get the fries.
