Matt, Scott, and Ali made the night amazing! Thank you so much for your service! Out on a Thursday without kids has never been so fun!

Server literally talked to us twice. Made eye contact, passed by, and served other tables for an hour. Didn’t even have a chance to order the mediocre food. At least the flat Dr. Pepper was free.

I came with my best friend and sister who love Chappell to the Chappell Roan pop up. The decor is cute, but the drinks are expensive and not good. The food was fine, but the "Chappell Roan" was sadly lacking. They had some amateur magician they were running instead of the advertised live music...and they even shut off the Chappell on the radio. If I just showed up, ok. Even with the overpriced food and drinks. But I had to actually pay to get in. What a waste of $21 in cover. The servers were even surprised that there was the random magician and told the owner several times that people were asking for Chappell music. One table near us even started singing music and they still didn't turn it on. We were here almost an hour before they turned the music on. To be clear, the servers were attentive and good. It was the whole situation with the magician/no music and the bad drinks that really sunk it for us.

why have a pop up bar for Chappell Roan and not play any music and have a random “magic show.” Very disappointing and not worth paying for tickets

The drinks, food, atmosphere didn't match the price. Would give another theme a chance but was not impressed.

Drinks were awful, bottom shelf liquor. I get you are there for the atmosphere and I tried to remain impartial, but the live music had technical difficulties, the drink (we could only stomach one) was hard to get down because it was crappy quality liquor with a bunch of sugar to try and mask the flavor, and it was a $7 non refundable reservation fee that also didn’t go towards your tab. Total for 2 people only having two drinks was $50. Not at all worth the price. Save your money and go somewhere else. Shoutout to the waitress though, she was trying her best.

Every time I’ve been to Vignettes and Re-Roll I’ve had a wonderful time. The food was perfectly portioned for what I was looking for, and satisfied those late night cravings! I wanted to point out that the staff made an incredible effort in their art and performances, as well as performance selections. You can tell that there is heart and soul poured into this place. Without a doubt a wonderful gem in Kansas City ❤️💯✨

Vignettes could be a nice place to go and have a few drinks for your 90 min reservation. Unfortunately, their customer service does not equal their Pop-Up decor and pricey drinks.

My wife and I waited right at 15 min for someone to come take our drink order before I gave up and headed up to the bar. The server for our table (she said her name was Allie) that was standing at the bar was definitely put off and unapologetic when I stated that we had been waiting for someone to come by our table for a while. Allie then asked if I wanted her to take my order or order at the bar? I thought that was a little odd since I was obviously just wanting anyone to take my order and she appeared to be 100% available to do so. I then asked her if she would take it of which she reluctantly did and then I went back to the table. After about 5 min, she showed up with our two drinks and asked again how long we had been waiting of which, I stated it felt like 30 min, but was really probably closer to 20 min. Allie then scoffed at my wife and I and stated that "that's interesting, I had you clocked in as only waiting 5 min." "Now, isn't that funny." and then Allie walked off. Obviously, that was a rude and unprofessional shot at us and was very much not appreciated. I then proceeded to look at my wife and our two drinks and we both said, "You know what, we don't have to be treated this way." I then took both of our untouched drinks back up to the bar where Allie was standing and told her that my wife and I don't have to be treated so unprofessionally and that we were leaving. Allie could have cared less and loudly stated "Ok sir, have a great night!"

As my wife and I left we told the guy at the front door that Allie was very rude and unprofessional and that this was our first and probably last visit to their establishment. His body language looked to me like I wasn't the first customer to complain about Allie and her lack of customer service. I really wasn't shocked by that at all based on how she treated us. As we turned and headed out the door, he did apologize for how we were treated by Allie.

There is simply no excuse for the long wait times and then rude customer service we received at Vignettes. I hope that they can improve by hiring better people to take care of their customers. It's not a cheap place to go for drinks and I think a customer should expect that you wouldn't get the cheap, rude and unprofessional service that Allie gave us.

Our server was lovely, very friendly and clearly wanted us to enjoy ourselves. She even helped us get a couple pictures together.
Unfortunately, while the decor was great, our overall experience was pretty lackluster...
Maybe it was due to the time, but there was no entertainment when we got there. We were under the impression that Saturdays had live music, and never saw anything that said it ended at a specific time.
Our first round of drinks (only two shots and two cocktails) took nearly 30 minutes to get to our table. Our sever came back around to double check that our order went through, it had. Even after seeing that our order did go through, and what appeared to be the server asking what was going on, I continued to watch the bartenders prepare several other orders before finally getting our drinks.
After paying $15 for our reservation, I do feel like our shots should have been comped due to the wait.

On top of that, the drinks just weren't that good. The ingredients weren't well balanced and for $14+ a drink, they seemed really weak.

Maybe it was just an off night, but this was one of the things I was looking forward to most on our trip here and it seemed like this event really fell short of it's full potential.

I may give another theme a second chance sometime when I'm back in town, but I definitely would not spend the extra money on a reservation.

It was advertised that Saturdays have live music, but by 11, there was no entertainment at all. Our first round of drinks took almost 30 minutes to get to our table. This was not the server's fault, she double checked that the order went through and went up to ask about it. This was the bartenders not paying attention, I watched them serve several tables that ordered after us before finally making our drinks. The drinks also weren't good quality. They were weak, the ingredients were poorly balanced, and my blood bag wasn't even cold. The extra cost of the reservation felt like an absolute rip-off. This had a lot of potential and really fell short.

This is our second themed trivia night (after Twilight last month) and we have had a BLAST!! We almost didn't return after a bad experience at the Stranger Things pop up and I'm so glad we gave it another try! I think that was just a fluke. I just wish we'd come back sooner- I missed some amazing themes (Dolly ?), but I'm so glad We finally did make our way back to Vignettes. It's definitely become a tradition we look forward to every 6 weeks or so!

Only about 3 drinks were good. The rest were, honestly iffy. Lot of the drinks were warm. The food was okay. I wouldn't order any with chicken. The nachos was the best, just don't add the chicken. Very rubbery.

Nice pop up bar experience. Great service friendly staff exciting drinks and overall fun experience. Food selection was limited but did not go there for the food. Look forward to going back.

I booked the wrong time and spent all week trying to get ahold of them with no response. I called their store during business hours MULTIPLE times, emailed and sent a chat through open table countless times with no response from them. Wasn't able to attend, so my money is wasted since I can't even get ahold of them to get a refund. Very poor customer service.
