We got here when there was only one other table that had their food. We got a plate of 5 pieces to share between us of chicken & fish. Then 20 minutes later we got another few pieces but after feeling like we had to beg for them. The waiter would bring over a plate then stand there acting like he didn’t want to give them up - dropping down one piece at a time. It was an extremely awkward situation considering others came in, even one man by himself who got delivered more than the two of us initially. Then when more people came in, they were given twice as much as us initially. Don’t advertise as an all-you-can-eat if you’re going to make your customers feel uncomfortable based on what they look like if they aren’t extremely large people. Give initially what is fair. $15 is quite a bit of money for what was served to us. I won’t recommend this place as there are others that you get your money’s worth and it’s not uncomfortable.I had also planned to buy a bunch of jars honey and jam but decided I would support other local businesses instead.

I'd give this place a 10 if that was an option!! We took a side trip on our way from Arkansas to our next stay in Missouri based on positive reviews we found online for R&M Dutch Oven Cooking operated by Amish and we were not disappointed. Great prices and friendly staff too. They are only open on Fridays. We had all you care to eat fish (swai, deep fried just right) and boneless chicken (yummy and juicy) with fried potatoes (home made, sliced then deep fried and seasoned... yummy yummy), coleslaw (tasty and creamy), baked beans (very flavorful), homemade white and wheat bread (soft and delicious - I usually fore go bread but I couldn't resist having one, then ok I had a second slice too). Typically I only eat 2 pieces of fish but I couldn't resist having more chicken and fish. Meal comes with a drink and lastly either homemade apple or cherry crisp with ice cream. I choose the apple crisp and was not disappointed. They also served a peanut butter flavored sauce for the chicken. This was such a flavorful sauce that even my sister who typically doesn't like peanut butter enjoyed it also. I asked what was in the sauce and was told peanut butter spread, marshmallow fluff, butter and water. Oh what a great flavorful sauce to use on the chicken. Next time I go through Norwood, MO (or anywhere near) I will definitely plan to stop.

The whole meal was excellent! I highly recommend checking out this Amish restaurant. They have an all you can eat fish fry or chicken strips. I had the fish and my husband had the chicken. Absolutely delicious!! Oh if you love peanut butter they have the most amazing peanut butter spread for your side of bread.. : D

OMG DELICIOUS!! The food was absolutely heavenly.. We marked this restaurant as one of our favorite restaurants to go.. They don't take cards so bring cash... The food is fresh and tender, oh and their peanut butter spread is amazing and sooo yummy!!! Even their home made candies and desserts are amazing. All I can say is that every bite right down to the last one was truly delicious.. I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat. The all you can eat fish or chicken strips, which comes with drink, and dessert is $13. Although you will want to bring extra cash for their home made candies, jellies, and pastries.
