This place is awesome! After taking a few bites, my daughter proclaimed this was the best pizza she'd ever had! Unbeknownst to her, the beer is also very tasty đ
On November 15 around 7pm, I was disappointed with my order. I paid over $30 for two small pies that were overwhelmed by a strong char flavor, which detracted from the otherwise chewy, delicious crust. The bottoms werenât burnt, but they were coated with an unpleasant, old char taste. On top of that, about 80% of each pie was undercooked and doughy. If you quote a 10-minute cooking time, perhaps donât pull the pies out at 8. This experience was nothing like what Iâve come to expect from the Defiance and Augusta locations.
Nice employees! Great food and beer!
The hours on Sunday say Noon to 6pm yet, at 4pm closed. Idk
I've been coming here off and on for many years since O'Fallon was my hometown and I respect bringing a craft beer joint to the place. Before the multiple locations, Good News O'Fallon was a fun bustling joint with great service. My last two visits have been very poor and it has become difficult to justify spending money at this location. When inviting friends or family, they would prefer to head to St. Charles or Defiance where the service/pizza is better.
One particular night we were the only ones in the place (oddly on a Friday) and all three of the staff were goofing off in the back instead of waiting on us. The soap spigot in the bathroom was in the sink and it was just a mess. It clearly shows that this location was forgotten.
Both of these times our pizza was burnt past the tolerable level of wood-fired appreciation. When mentioning this to staff, they didn't even seem to care or offer to replace it with pizza that wasn't completely black on the bottom.
I like hitting the laundry next door for super large comforters and other items that don't fit in my device at home. It's convenient to just grab a beer while waiting. This place can do better or consider closing to focus on locations doing it better.
Just delicious food and drinks!
Ordered a pretzel for an app, came out with our pizza. Which is more like personal size. Went to go pay with a Groupon we got as a gift & they decided last nightâ they wouldnât accept those this weekend since itâs a holiday weekend. Itâs basically a gift card, so Iâm not sure what the problem was. All around, we wonât be back
Besides good beer, the pizza was amazing!
We went to Good News based on it being on our Pub Passes. They had a good sale of brews, including a sour (my fave!). Their fired pizzas were DELICIOUS but a little small for the price in my opinion.
Since day one, the commitment to the community has been second to none. Dan and the team have a great vision and even better beer. Itâs a must visit for anyone that is in St. Charles County and even worth a trip across the river for those in St. Louis County. By far, one of our favorite places in OâFallon!

Great place , Great pizza ans Garlic bread
Very nice people in a clean place that make wood fired pizza and have their own beer. We tried the Dirty Laundry brown ale and a Hawaiian BBQ pizza which were both really good! Will come back!
