We reserved a table for a music event but when we got there nobody was at the front to greet us or tell us where to sit so we stood there for 10 minutes waiting. We were finally seated and it was another 10-15 before we got some water and menu. We ordered wine and an old fashioned along with some dinner. The drinks took a very long time to arrive and my husband's old fashioned had lots of orange pulp floating around in it and was not good at all. The food finally arrived and we were not given salt or pepper, checked on at all or attended to. The food was just OK but very disappointing for a $75 check. We will not be going back. The only good thing was the live music.

Rendezvous is a new favorite! Love the menu choices (if you haven't been there you MUST try the New York New York sandwich--yum). What I especially love is the seasonal menu that switches up monthly. Today I had the Autumn Salad and my only regret is that I forgot to take a photo! Our server, Hailey, was great too. Can't wait to come back! 😋

It’s a good place to enjoy a morning, what really makes it a good if not great place is the service, Kiley is fantastic, she takes her time, pays attention and remembers her customers. Lexi is fantastic as well she is so on top of everything. The food has been hit or miss, sometimes great sometimes bland. The atmosphere is good but it really is about the people who work there that makes it a good place to come. My wife and I choose to come back here again and again because of Kiley.

**The Best Birthday Celebration at Rendezvous Cafe!**
I can't say enough about the amazing birthday I just had at Rendezvous Cafe in O'Fallon, MO—it truly was the best! Celebrating my 12th 29th birthday (cheers to being 29 forever!) was made extra special by my boyfriend, who took me out for a delightful dinner.
To my surprise, we enjoyed live jazz music throughout the evening, which created a fantastic atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the food—it was AMAZING! We started with the homemade spinach artichoke dip, and I can confidently say it was the best I’ve EVER had (I’m a foodie!). For my main course, I indulged in the New York New York sandwich accompanied by their homemade potato salad, which was absolutely TO DIE FOR!
The highlight of the evening came when my boyfriend had the jazz band surprise me with a beautiful birthday song! To top it all off, the owner brought out a slice of turtle cheesecake with a candle, making me feel so cherished and celebrated.
I genuinely don’t think this night can be topped! I highly recommend Rendezvous Cafe to anyone seeking great food, live music, and a memorable celebration. This was my first visit, but I’ll definitely be back weekly! Thank you for making my birthday celebration so unforgettable!

Some friends and I came here for brunch and we had such an amazing experience! The food is great! The patio was such a vibe! Definitely will be coming back!
Update: We used to love this place, but under the new ownership it seems to be trying too hard and missing the target. I am sure some of it is missing the way it used to be, but we generally did not like the menu changes and the feel is just less comfortable. I am sure we will be back to give it another try at some point, but we have not been in a hurry.
Under Previous Ownership: They have great food and a very comfortable laid back atmosphere. We have been to Rendezvous several times for almost any occasion, from relaxing anniversary dinners to breakfast after Mass. The food and drink selection is very good and I can always find something that sounds good. We know several people that go there specifically for the live music and say that it is great. We personally are not really live music aficionados, but they offer great wine, beer, and liquor tastings. The patio is a great place to sit and relax.

Amazing as always not only a fantastic staff, but the fresh food I have had in O’Fallon area. They have all kinds of make it your own way and even decently priced food. I would highly suggest this place for anybody going for brunch or dinner or really anytime of the day, but the mimosas are really the best.
Vegetarian options: They have a huge selection of vegetarian options, which makes it awesome as well

I have held off writing this review because we’ve been hopeful things would improve. Unfortunately they haven’t. After 5 years, today was our last visit. The waffle I had was ice cold. There is no way it was freshly made as the menu states. Butter would not melt on it. It had the taste of being in the refrigerator with other food. It was terrible. The fruit cup consisted of grapes and blueberries with two orange slices.
In short, this not the Rendezvous Cafe we knew and loved every Sunday morning for the past five years. The breakfast items are not good and the new owners have removed several longtime favorites. The new additions, I have tried three, do not make it, especially the smoothie bowl. Don’t water your money. It was awful.
The atmosphere that was once warm and cozy is now white, sterile and has no personality. Not to mention dust on the window ledge is so thick you can write your name.
We were there for an hour this morning and were the only patrons sitting indoors the entire time. There were three tables seated outside when we left. Used to be it was always full on Sunday mornings. So sad. I can only wonder if the new owners are focused on lunch , dinner and wine business and breakfast is just a necessary evil. We continued to go because we loved the wait staff and the friendly, warm atmosphere. Still love the wait staff but the rest we can do without.
