Kolaches are amazing. I know this. Bought a dozen for work instead of the usual donuts for breakfast, they were a huge hit.

Great place to send your enemy, HOA, or the Karen in your life . If your are looking for that subtle revenge you have found the place. They will not disappoint. Make sure you give them that stink eye wink!

Waste of money. I’ve had Kolache Factory and they are delightful. My first visit here consisted of cold - not even room temperature - food. I figured I came in too late in the morning and I’d give them another chance - this time was somehow worse. Food was still cold, and all 3 variations I got were bland and extremely lacking in substance. For $3.50+ per kolache, I’d expect more than basically a sausage gravy spread on the bottom. Never again.

Be ware! They have a planty of choice and it is hard to choose what you want to eat first! :) I have tasted sweet things and "pizza style" things - they are very yummy! I can confirm their high rating!

If you have never had a Kolache, these are not really them. You will know this if you are from Texas or of Czech ancestry. HOWEVER, this doesn't mean the food is bad. Quite the opposite, the food is very good for a quick hand held meal on the go. They have lots of options utilizing many of St. Louis' unique food offerings as fillings for these tender pockets of backed dough. This breakfast won't break the bank.

The dough is way to sweet for most lunch items, as it overshadows the fillings. With that said, the ham and cheese and meatball items were ok. The sloppy joe, bacon Mac were pretty bad.

I placed a large order on line for an early morning pick up. Not only was the service amazing, the food was so delicious! My employees loved it so much! Thank you!!

Food is good but service was bad, I think the girl at the counter must be having a bad day and has decided to be super unhelpful. I felt rushed and like I was bothering her.

Worst service around!!!! Ordered 8 items online and was given 6.... & 3 of them were the wrong ones! We didn't even get the right orders. The employee didn't even write on our box which ones were which. We just had to guess and hope we gave the right ones to the right people. Will NEVER return here. Food is gross anyways.

I've heard good things about this place and wanted to check it out. I ordered two savory kolaches and one sweet: Pappy's pulled pork, bacon/egg/cheese, and a s'mores. When I ordered, they asked if I wanted them hot. I said yes. The worker went to the back and microwaved them. I got them less than two minutes later. The Pappy's pork was great. It's Pappy's. The bacon, egg, cheese was not very good. The bacon was very floppy, soggy, fatty, and undercooked. The overall egg mixture was under seasoned, and there was hardly any cheese. I was imagining the hot cheese being ooey gooey, but there was none of that. The s'mores kolache was good. I think if I visited again, I would just come for the sweet options like blueberry, gooey butter, etc. The star of the show is the bread itself.

They close at 2 and the really good kolache were all gone! Get there when they open or order ahead!

I struggle with this review for a number of reasons. I want to like the concept, and I want to like the food. It's got the idea of a savory donut, or a sweet filled bagel, and that works as a start. So, I am fairly sure that I like the Kolache concept, even here. It's unique in the flavor and concept. Somewhere, along the way, however, it fails here, even if the taste is almost there. The problems stem from minor things, which start racking up quickly. 1. Heating something in a microwave that should be fresh and hot is a problem already. When the heating is inconsistent throughout the item, it also creates an issue. 2. The place was not hospitable for eat-in, and the last time I was there, the counter person was surly, unkempt, and even though I tried my best to engage and be friendly, just wasn't having any part of it. 3. My wife spotted a health concern... like a lack of gloves or something, but I forgot what it was. It seemed to fit with the rest of the visit. 4. The price point is $4 or so each item, and at that price point, I can get a more consistent, filling, and engaging breakfast sandwich most anywhere else. 2 of these, and a drink, and I'm already at the price for place that is just a short "iHOP" away. 5. I like the idea, and the dough, but the fillings on both the savory and sweet seem to be an afterthought... they just exist with a lack of vibrancy, like the "bread" is the attraction. I want to like it. I just can't see going back again.
