Backwater Jacks offers a mixed experience. While some enjoy the delicious grouper fingers and fast, friendly service, others are disappointed with the food quality. The atmosphere and pool bar are highlights, with a patio/deck that is perfect on a cool night. The Blackened Grouper is very good and the Stuffed Mushrooms are a favorite. Service is excellent and staff make great suggestions. It is a fun and great place to hang out with music, food and drinks, making it a decent option for a meal.
