Best live music venue in St. Louis. It can get quite smoky, but it is my favorite dive bar with some of the best musicians and by far the best owner operator! Judy as a huge supporter of her community and live music!!
It is small, all the chairs are bar height and so are the tables. There was no place for us to sit in front of the band so we had to sit off to the side at the bar. Not really an issue for us but it was not very comfortable. It was quite Smoky and they left the doors closed. I believe it would have been better to leave the door open so some of the smoke could filter out. The owner was also the bartender and I like her a lot! If you are a smoker this would probably be a great place...
Judy does a wonderful job with the bar and makes everyone feel comfortable and safe when out for a good time. The Pub is probably my favorite bar ever, but then again I might be biased as I have many friends and family members that have all frequented the place in the past as well as currently. But it really feels like an extension of home every time I visit.
Parking: Park in front or around the side and if you have to you can even park in back.
