I don't know if you got a new chef or what but he/she knocked my General Tso chicken out of the park! I ordered General Tso with sauce on the side, I ordered something on a stick that I didn't even realize I ordered but it was great and I got the General Tso sauce for my fried WonTons although I don't know why I am charged extra for that because I just want to substitute the Sweet and Sour that comes with it, if I am not mistaken. I’ve always had it delivered so can’t speak to the atmosphere . The food is always excellent and the greens are the best a I’ve ever had! Love!

Based on customer reviews, DA Place & Grill (formerly Backing Blacks St Louis Kitchen) serves delicious food with generous portions. The General Tso chicken is fantastic, and the Cat fish strips and pork chops are a 10/10. The Yams, Mac n cheese, and Greens taste just like home cooking. The Cajun pasta is magnificent with a flavorful house made sauce, a kick of spicy, and the right portion of pasta to sauce. The food is so good it will make you do a lil dance. The service is fast, and the people are great friendly. This is soul food for real. The restaurant is also on DoorDash. Customers will definitely come back and hope to see this spot flourish.
