Went once when I was in the area. Will travel back just for the bbq. Best in the STL area by far.

I’ve tried several meals on the menu and have always been satisfied with the taste, quality and quantity of the meals. Had to get a carry out several times. Great price for adult beverages too.

Worth a drive if you have a chance to visit. I always get the ribs, but I keep vowing to try something new the next visit. The brisket Mac n Cheese is amazing as well. I’ve never heard a bad word about any food option. Plus lots of beers on tap and fantastic employees. Not to mention Jerry being there and visiting all the people. When you think of neighborhood gathering spot, this is what you imagine.

We arrived for lunch to get the all you can eat fried chicken and had a terrible time. We got our first serving soon, but it took us an hour and a half to get our next plate, which was cold. Before we got our refill, our server say down in the table next to us to eat and would not respond to us. There was 1 waiter working and about 5 others just standing around. The service was terrible. I would not recommend going here, especially because it was not busy.

Horrible service, just terrible. We waited 30 minutes just for someone to take our drink order. We were stuck at the restaurant for more than 3 hours, just waiting for our food. The food is okay, not great. We had slow service the last two times we visited as well, so it is obviously a pattern. We will not return.

Decided to stop by after hiking in the area on Saturday. Ordered the smoked Turkey Sandwich w/greens & Brisket Sandwich with BBQ Beans. We also ordered some pork egg rolls for an app. Both meats were cooked to perfection (not dry) and thinly sliced and layered onto the bun. I’d have to say out of the two sandwiches I preferred the turkey. The brisket lacked a little flavor however the BBQ sauce provided doctored it up a bit and made it great. The egg rolls were excellent. If you’re in the area come check this place out. I would love to return when they have live music. Nice spot !

Great food, great service. And Brown Jerry sets the example. We found his restaurant after attending a Cardinals game on Sunday. We're from out of state experiencing mlb parks. So, after a long drive and a long hot day at the ball park, this restaurant was a great end to a great day. The ribs and fried chicken were the best.

Everyone treats you like family , Jerry is always so welcoming and happy to see you ! The half chicken is my favorite it’s always cooked perfectly 😁 The BEST baked beans you will have!!

I am not a BBQ sauce person but there's was fantastic, not your basic sauce. The smoked Turkey was delicious as well
