“We aren't from the area but were in town for a softball game near by. We were very pleased with all of our dinners. The steak, chicken and tilapia special were all delicious. The chips were great and so was the salsa. Margaritas were on point too! 😋“

“The food and service were absolutely awesome. Very distinct flavors. We pride ourselves on finding great Mexican food in our travels around the US and Canada. This us one stop we will definitely come back for. Seriously don't miss this if you are in the area.“

“Moving reviews over from Yelp. Originally written in 2017:
Cheese baby, cheese!
I came here willingly for one reason, and only one reason: I saw someone's picture of a dish called Alhombre and had to try it. Think of it like this...they throw a handful of pieces of all of their meats (plus bacon) on a platter and then smother it is cheese sauce. Yep, kinda like a garbage pizza but made of Americanized Mexican food. The list included chicken, steak, fish, bacon and somehow a couple of shrimps even though they weren't listed on the menu as being part of the dish. There were some vegetables in there too but the dish could have used a bit more. Everything was cooked properly and very flavorful even without that luscious blanket of cheese laid over the top. Tortillas on the side along with the ubiquitous rice & beans.
We started with chips and salsa but the main event was the most memorable...until dessert arrived. The thing I love about flan is the drizzle of caramel sauce that usually accompanies the custard on the plate. There's never enough to allow a little bit with each bite. Not usually. Not ever - until this plate of flan arrives and it was absolutely swimming in caramel sauce (see picture). I was stuffed to the gills but actually contemplated ordering another one just to see if it would look the same. I held off but will certainly return if for no other reason than to have another flan.“

“Great atmosphere and wonderful food!! Large portions!!“
“Finally got to try this place after a string of bad luck regarding sporadic availability. As of April 2024, they sell burritos, walking tacos, nachos, and taco bowls. All are about $20 - much too steep for my liking, and at that price, I would skip if I were not on the dining plan. That being said, I was really impressed with what I got for my meal credit. Mexican is an EXTREMELY welcome change of pace from the usual theme park fare. I got a burrito, and was given a choice of rice, black/pinto beans, chicken/beef, and an assortment of toppings -- cheese/lettuce/pico/jalapenos/sour cream. It, as with all of the entrees here, comes with a side of chips, which were totally decent. This burrito was NOT small. Flavor and quality-wise, of course it wasn't Chipotle caliber, but it was still very tasty and filling. Service was really pleasant and quick. Macho Nacho has quickly ascended to one of my favorite dining options at Six Flags St. Louis. If you are planning on getting something to eat at the park, this is a great spot. Looking forward to trying the other offerings at this location this summer.“

“That Taco Bell is probably the best Taco Bell I’ve ever been to! There’s a tall guy there who always wears a beanie with brown hair and he always makes sure I get my drinks and all of my food is in the bag! He definitely deserves a raise and he is so amazing at making food.“
