Nice place! The food was excellent and priced reasonably. We enjoyed the burger and french dip very much. Service was good and food came quickly.

I was very disappointed going 35 minutes to The Junction today for Mother’s Day lunch with my family. The waitress seemed very annoyed that we were even there. We had to continually ask for refills and most of the food came out cold. I ordered and had forgotten we wanted an appetizer. I stopped the waitress and said we would like to order mushrooms. She gave me a look of death, like how could I order an appetizer after my main order! Maybe she should have asked if we wanted an appetizer…. But nonetheless, she put the order in and brought them out before our other food, which we appreciated. They were decent. Our food was so so. Like I said above, it was like warm. Our waitress didn’t ask if we wanted dessert, just dropped off the check. The kiddos wanted pie, but we decided to go somewhere else after all that and the check sitting there. When we got home 4 of the 7 of us were sick. We called to talk to the owner to let them know also they could be aware of what was going on. None of us had ate anything else before we got there. The person who answered the phone talked to the owner and came back and said they would not compensate us as they had no clue if we were sick before we came in. Why would we go out to eat if we were sick!? Kind of weird the 4 of us all had some form of chicken and didn’t feel good afterwards. Not even a sorry…. And the owner wouldn’t even get on the phone. We will not be back.

Came for lunch on Sunday afternoon with my wife and kids . We drove up from Fenton mo to check on our boat . We have been several times for breakfast when we camp during the summer . It’s usually always pleasant and good food . Today however was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had to date . First meeting with our waitress was rough . A young girl with a terrible attitude . We ordered ice tea and asked for sweet N low .. She responded with what’s that . With a poor attitude . Then we went to order our food, my son wanted the shrimp skewers but it came with rice pilaf he didn’t want the pilaf and asked if it could be put on a different plate so his mom could eat it . The waitress replied well the skewers are literally sitting on the rice you can take them off .. 😳.. My wife was very upset at her response and decided not to order anything. When she finally brought the sweetener she waved it right in my face and then placed it on the table . Then the older gentleman sitting in the booth behind me was trying to ask her something and she replied with “What do you want “. 😳 then finally before leaving again the elderly gentleman asked another question and she responded with ,” What are you even talking about?” . The tea was old tasted like an old ash tray, The service sucked and lunch was mediocre.. won’t be back . Rustic oak is down the way and its service and food are decent . You pay your hard earned dollars to an establishment and in return treated like your an inconvenience.. Nope thanks I’ll take my money elsewhere!!

A large group of us came in on our way back home .. They were accommodating with quick service .. The food was fresh with large portions ❤️ We would definitely come back when in the area 🙌
