“Subway for me is usually a last resort. I don't frequent them often for a couple reasons. 1) The folks behind the counter are never too friendly...they don't seem to care for their work or take much pride in it. 2) The shops never, ever, seem to be clean.
The Subway in Pevely, MO was the exception! The place was super clean AND getting cleaner. An employee behind the counter was scrubbing down what looked like an already scrubbed piece of equipment. Tables, floor, chairs, glass, counter...everything was super clean. The fella that took our order and made our sandwiches was kind, attentive, clean and neat. There was the appropriate amount of interaction and customer acknowledgement. I believe he may have even smiled! Food was right how it needed to be. We will be back!”

“Today my sister and I stopped by here to get breakfast
We took it back to the Laundromat to eat. We found out that they had left out an item from our order so, called and a gentleman by the name James of course told us to come back by to pick it up. We went back and James came to the window with our item. He then offered us something from the lunch menu because breakfast was over. My sister asked for a Big Mac, I was ok. When it was brought out, the order also contained cookies that were included for our inconvenience. I don't know about you but, I feel that the meaning of customer service left every field many, many years ago. I applaud and thank James very much for surprising us with a courtesy that was lost a long time ago.

“I on thee other hand found this place to be no different then any other drive throu time I've had worse else where but what I can say is I drive 15 mins away to come to this place because the quality is spot on ...The beans are not hard or old their fresh and I was in and out..what I will say is that easy on the extra condiments in the bag nice gesture but an expensive cost..just ask them how many or go with the policy per item.”

“Ordered a veggie pizza and a salad. 4-cheese, mushroom, onion and dark olives. Not black olives, but dark Greek type olives. Pizza was Great. Only one size but enough for 2 people. The salads are made ahead of time, found in a care, but taste very fresh. Only an oil dressing is offered, but it was wonderful. We dipped the crust of the pizza in the extra oil dressing, yummy. Had the lemonade - delicious!”

“WOW! Top notch in every way! The atmosphere was beautiful and comforting, and relaxing. Honestly, the place reminds me of a Hallmark Movie, only better! I just love it and can't wait to visit again! Oh, and the young girl helping me was the very best! So helpful and understanding! Everyone there was actually just a blessing! If I end up moving out there, I would end up there every day!!! It was just that good! Thank you so much. I shared a picture of another reason I went there! I loved this bag they shared and had to have it. And it was the last one! So excited. “My daughter and I visited The Braided Bakery today for the first time and it was AMAZING!! First of all the shop is adorable!!! The people were super friendly and I’m now the proud owner of a pretzel bites addiction!!! They are to DIE FOR! I was in love with Auntie Anne’s, UNTIL today when I tried theirs!!! They are so soft and pillowy and NOT greasy like auntie Anne’s! So much better!!! We also got a chocolate chip and a gooey butter cookie that were also the best cookies ever!!! They are really thick and just have the best taste and texture!! We will definitely be back for more!!!! Thank you so much!”

“I've been going here since I was a little kid and their food is still unmatched. Old timey, diner-style restaurant with friendly service, to-die-for ice cream, and plenty of lovely memories. Also has great pricing and a claw machine I've won two stuffed animals from, which is in my opinion a good record. Highly reccommend mozzarella sticks, fries, and waffle cone sundae (mint chip is superior).”

Mom and dad just trying to have a date night and the owner and our waitress went above and beyond! “They take their time to answer questions about their drinks. I am pretty particular about my coffee and they were able to make an amazing Apple Flavored Latte. My favorite drink ever! Their new food is great from what I tried. The salads are super fresh!”

“Was traveling thru the area today and seen dippin dots and made the trip over. This place was great. I met the owner and he let me try different flavors as well as the popcorn, such a nice guy! I wish I lived closer…… but will be a stopping point every time I’m in the area!”

“i realized months later i posted this review on google but not here. after getting a notification that their google page received yet again another negative review regarding THE SAME ISSUE i expierenced, i felt compelled to post here. First off, I miss Amy. She was great—always smiled, made customers feel welcomed. The crew they have now is just a bunch of kids who have absolutely no work ethic nor common decency toward their customers. I ordered an iced matcha latte with cinnamon syrup. The gal who handed me my drink did not say anything… was rude. I took a drink of my iced matcha and settled at the bottom was about a half-inch of pure cane sugar. When I brought it to the window to address it, the gal who made it— instead of apologizing and offering to remake it—began to argue, stating, “Well I made it and I know I didn’t put sugar in it.” So that was fun. Then, when I requested my drink be refunded, she began arguing with me to just remake it instead of refunding me. Sincerely hope they train their new staff on being kind to customers and basic people skills. However, they have officially lost another customer. It appears I am not the only one who has had an issue with the new staff… that’s a shame. For reference, this occurred during the summer of 2025.”
