My first time walking into dexter's. I asked a lady standing in front do I order at the at the counter. Her one word answer was yes. No greeting, know how can I help you or any such thing. I knew from looking at her that she was not used to using her words. I'm sure the food is good and if you're a local and know what you're doing I'm sure things are fine. I said to her that I'm from out of town, and I don't feel like asking 20 questions and you don't seem to feel like using your words. I left and now I'm headed back to St Louis. Management whoever you have at your counter on March 9th at 12:45 is not the best optics for your business.

TERRIBLE x3Called and was told to hold for a couple of minutes. After ten minutes I hung up and called back again…twice. On third call I was told there were about 45 people in line and she was the only person there. Call back in about 10 minutes. On a Saturday night?!?!?!??!?… why would you only have one person taking orders? This is a poor management issue. GET IT TOGETHER DBBQ!!!

The overall store is good. The food was good and It had good flavor. I have noticed some issues though. I've visited twice now over a years time now and both trips I've felt like there was enough options to choose from. I got the Three meat plate both times, and both times the server forgot to bring me a side I ordered. The coleslaw first and potato salad today. Both visits I sat at the same table by the window and both times it's had the worst loose table top issue, on top of having to clean the sauce bottles provided of clots.Wheelchair accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible.
Great beef brisket. I like the BBQ sauces because they give you a variety to pick from.

We hadn't been there in years. I couldn't even remember if it was good or not. We went today and it was absolutely amazing. Sauces were delicious. We were served very quickly! My daughter is picky about meat. She got grilled chesse but couldn't stop eating the pork off our plates! We will definitely be back. Service was also amazing.
