I had a decent meal at Huddle House in Poplar Bluff, MO, but it felt like I was paying Perkins prices for a Huddle House atmosphere. I got the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, their new coleslaw, and a biscuit. The coleslaw was a standout—sweet, tangy, and perfectly vinegary. My friend ordered the triple cheeseburger with a double order of fries and liked it. Our server, Dorothy, was amazing, super attentive, and really elevated the experience....
