Nice and clean. Need to add handicap stalls so they know there is a disability person there who needs help. Other wise they ignore them. Need to pay more attention to what ppl order.

**Title: Health Concerns Arise After Employee's Respiratory Infection Linked to Restaurant Food Safety Issues**

In a concerning incident that has sparked discussions on food safety standards, David Williams, a dedicated employee of the Sonic Drive-In located on Westwood Blvd in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, recently contracted a respiratory infection believed to stem from buns that were potentially contaminated due to rodent exposure. This situation highlights the essential need for rigorous health and safety practices in the food industry.

David has been a valued member of the Sonic team for several months, known for his commitment to customer service and for maintaining high standards within the restaurant. However, his recent health struggle has cast a shadow over the fast-food establishment. According to David, the buns he consumed while at work were kept in an area that had shown signs of rodent activity. Despite his best efforts to abide by food safety guidelines, it seems that some procedures may not have been adequately followed.

Following his diagnosis, David experienced severe respiratory symptoms that prompted him to seek medical attention. After thorough examinations, healthcare professionals determined that the source of the infection could be linked to his exposure to contaminated food products. This alarming development raises critical questions regarding food safety protocols, staff training, and the importance of maintaining sanitary conditions within food preparation areas.

Local health authorities have been alerted to the situation, and an investigation is currently underway to determine the extent of the health risks posed to both employees and customers. Inspectors are expected to conduct a thorough review of the Sonic Drive-In on Westwood Blvd, evaluating their procedures for food handling, storage, and pest control.

The incident has not only affected David but has also caused concern among other employees and patrons of the restaurant. Many are voicing their worries over food safety and the potential for future health risks. “I’m worried about the safety of the food here,” commented one customer who frequents the Sonic Drive-In. “It’s essential for restaurants to be vigilant about cleanliness and pest control.”

David is currently recovering but remains determined to advocate for better food safety measures in the restaurant. He hopes that his experience will catalyze improvements not just at his workplace, but across the food service industry, ensuring that such incidents do not happen to others.

This incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of health and safety standards in the food industry. Regular inspections, employee training, and a proactive approach to pest management are vital components of ensuring that food establishments provide safe and healthy dining experiences. As David continues his recovery, the community is reminded of the need for vigilance and accountability in the food service sector, which ultimately impacts everyone’s health and well-being.

As this story unfolds, it emphasizes the crucial nature of food safety, shedding light on the responsibilities of both employees and employers in protecting consumer health. So if you gotten sick around 10/21/24 and months before that. And ended up with a respiratory infection now is the time to contact an attorney.

What can you say it's freaking Sonic, couldn't decide what I wanted to drink so I told the person to surprise me. He hit it out of the park man kudos

Parking: Drive in diner type of style parking but kinda sad that the food delivery system wasn't on roller skates etc but times of nostalgia are fading away too much in all our lives

The food is good when it's done correctly, the microphones are horrible and they act like its my fault... there's no consistency with how food is delivered, somedays good most days okay and alot of days horrible and half of your booths are out of order... It just seems to lack effort and care, honestly. And PLEASE fix those microphones, I'm practically yelling out my window.

Parking: Half of the booths are out of order, so it's difficult to find an open stall sometimes.

Usually very good. If you ask for easy ice in your drinks, they'll still be full of ice, no one pays attention to your ice preference, every single time.

The day we came here they were absolutely packed. We just wanted a slushie, and it arrived as quickly as it could (pretty quickly considering how busy they were. Every stall was full).

We ordered a Chocolate Covered Strawberry milkshake and it was melted when we got it. Instead of bringing it when it was ready, they waited until the order of the car next to us was ready so they could bring both orders at the same time.
