So glad Adelita's is back in Purdy. The food on the opening day is just like we remember. Never leave!
We love the food at Adelita's, but after our experience today we will not be going back. We ordered 4 entrees, 4 teas, and had the dine in service. They gave us the chips and salsa and our drinks, we ordered, and ate. One of the waitresses brought us an additional basket of chips without us asking and we got tea refills. We finished our meal and went to pay to find they charged us for each basket of chips AND the refills. Nowhere in the menu or store said they charge for that....read full review
I have always loved Adelita’s and the service has always been great. But today, after a takeout order was wrong, they said they would do nothing about it. So we won’t be visiting there again for a while. I’m pretty disappointed because we’ve never had an issue with them in the past.

The taco salad is also a favorite. The food is tasty and brought out quick, and the guacamole doesn't have that refrigerator taste. There are a couple of new desserts, fried choco pie and fried pecan pie, that are fantastic. Food is great, desserts are great, and the service is fantastic! It's a kid-friendly spot where everyone can enjoy a delicious meal.
