We had a horrible experience about a year and a half ago with the food being cold to the service not being good at all. I am very glad we came in today and had Derek as our server, he really turned around our whole entire outlook we have on the restaurant now. Thank you Derek!
Flat Creek seldom disappoints. Gluten Free Catfish in dedicated fryer. Staff is very familiar with precautions. Yes, it’s a bit old fashioned. Heavy, country dishes. Tastes excellent. But the Rum Punch or Southern Hurricane. Outstanding. Always a nice waitress. I’m gonna have to skip the drink and have a piece a cake. Everything has been very good. Excellent fried chicken. Mashed potatoes could use improvement.

I got the pulled pork sandwich and I there was enough to make 2 or 3 sandwiches! It was my birthday and I got a brownie sundae for dessert, it was huge and I shared it with my husband. He got the catfish basket and he ended up taking his fries and one of the hushpuppies home. Service was awesome!
