We really enjoyed our first visit to Heady's! The smoked wings were amazing as were the burnt ends. Also enjoyed loaded tots and their fried okra was the best in the area!
Another positive (which we rarely mention): they had the BEST soda mix for their Coke products! Diet Coke rivaled McDonald's (if you know, you know)!
Atmosphere is just average but the smell walking in is SO GOOD!
We'll definitely be back!

This is the best BBQ in town as far as I’m concerned. Everything I tried was amazing. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the BBQ sauce was terrific. The sides were also fantastic; I highly recommend the pea salad, potato salad, and pit beans. The sampler is a great deal and easily feeds six large adult men after a day of labor. If you’re tired of everything tasting the same, like it’s off the same delivery truck, then go to Heady’s for unique and spectacular BBQ.
For Father's Day, the Hillbilly decided on BBQ. And since one of my favorites in Springfield was closed, we drove to Republic to get Heady's BBQ. Since it was Sunday, they only had the brunch menu, which was a little disappointing. But the food we did get was very good. A nice BBQ joint for a suburb of Springfield.

Got a takeout order around 530 pm on June 6th and ya'll killed it!! We got the hogwollop and the chicken salad sandwich sub a ciabatta bun for the chicky salad san which were both made to perfection!! My kid isn't a BBQ sauce fan but he smothered it on his burger and dipped his fries in it!!! Again thank you so much it's hard to find good places at the price point and everything be made correctly! Everything looked clean in the front and the girl who gave me the food was super nice!! Great job to everyone involved!!! You made our night!!

We came to dine in and it was awful. My 2 meat plate was served up wrapped in foil. My sides were served in Styrofoam. I felt like the establishment did not want us to dine in. I got 2 slices of brisket an 6 cubes of brisket that was called burnt ends. Not, burnt ends are the very ends of the brisket and cooked very well done. NOT a great experience this time.
