First impression: the entire restaurant smells like cigarettes and was not clean. Took 10 minutes to be given menus. Then another 35 minutes before food was done. People who came in after us were served before us. Our food sat in the window for at least 8 minutes. While it was getting colder we asked for it to be boxed. They gave us no plastic ware to then eat the food.

The food is good. The service is great. Those are the main two reasons we go out to eat. But I’ll be honest with you the environment, the aesthetics are very lacking. TheyI need to update the wall decor and maybe turn the music down a touch. Honestly, when you walk in there, it’s very hard and cold. It needs to be warmed up a bit and I don’t mean the temperature….. well I’ll just say it it’s kind of ugly in there.

My wife & I went here on a Tuesday about 915 for breakfast, which they serve all day. Place was not busy but had a steady group present. I ordered the special which was 2 bacon, 2 sausage links, 2 eggs, & 2 pan cakes. I asked for the pan cakes to be replaced with hash browns which they did but charged extra for. I also asked for the bacon and hash browns to be crispy. This took about 25 minutes to get and when it came, it was niether hot, nor crispy. No seasoning on anything. Bland basic fried breakfast. Not worth the money. I ordered coffee, it wasn't served very hot, was weak tasting, and they don't have real cream, just tiny plastic cups of knock-off coffeemate type stuff. Also while we were seated well before 2 other tables near by our order was taken last, this wasn't a big deal as we were not in a hurry. We figured the other tables were regulars so their patronage bought them something. Service was otherwise ok. Not bad, not great, just ok. The other tables were of course served first and we got the impression the cook was not in a hurry. All in all, very disappointing. I do not recommend. Lunch may be different, but breakfast is a bust in my book.

Food was excellent! Service...not so great. Waitress only came to our table to take order, never came back. Cook served our food and drinks. 3 tables around us had waitress checking in them regularly.
Got coffee when seated, eggs were good, biscuits and gravy good, hash browns only 3/4 cooked, finished coffee before food arrived though promised never got anymore coffee.

Air conditioner was down in 90 degree weather, but they had somebody working on it. Waitress was more focused on sitting in front of fan the checking if we needed anything. Restaurant is outdated and dirty. Food is mediocre at best with high price for the quality and quantity that they give you. My recommendation is to find somewhere else to eat.
