Great local spot for burgers and fries. Been a couple of times, and it was delicious every time. Haven't tried anything but the burgers and fries from the menu, yet. They can get a little slower when busy, but that's what happens when go to a place with real food.
Burger was great. I can't recommend the curly fries, they're pretty much impossible to eat. Just a giant square of greasy fries stuck together. Maybe try regular fries or tots. Otherwise it was great.
My parents, who have both passed, used to drive over an hour to Swope's. They loved the food, atmosphere and little town vibe. We now love to make the drive for their Amazing Suzy Q's, fresh food and yummy shakes. Definitely Always great food!
