Helium Comedy Club

We loved the show. I would recommend eating before you go. Even though we ordered 15 minutes before the show started our food never came. They did give us a random free thing that was not ours pretty much as the show was ending. Loved the show and would go again but I wouldn’t trust the kitchen.

This place has a great staff, clean location, free parking close to the front door, and solid comedians coming through their doors on the regular. Definitely check them out!

Over priced drinks, they automatically add 18% to your bill.And then your server will tell you that she does not get any of that 18% for her gratuity.It's a scam.I will never go back there.Food was terrible

Wonderful show with an amazing set. Food was good too!

We arrived at 5:45 pm, we was the first to arrive and the ticket counter was closed. We was told to go downstairs to the bar and come back in 15 minutes. We came back in 15 minutes, and now the line was very long. When we finally got o the counter to get our tickets, they were not there, so now we wait again. The lady had to reprint them while we waited. We finally got downstairs with our tickets by this time it was 6:10 pm. and the doors to the theatre were closed even though online with the instructions and rules it said that on the early shows the doors to get in open at 6:00 pm. Those doors did not open until 6:35 pm. It was very chaotic. People were everywhere. There was no structure, and the security guards had no idea what they were doing and were all over the place. It was very disorderly, unorganized, and unprofessional. We ordered food, and it was still waiting an hour later. She asked our server what was going on, and she said they were behind, so we canceled the order. We were very disappointed in how this establishment was with order. We enjoyed Lavelle he was great.

I took my wife to this venue to patronize only to be double charged for one of our orders and to add insult to injury I was humiliated by the main act in front of my wife and the audience which made things awkward for her and I. I don't plan on going back. That experience really left me with a sour taste that need to be answered for.

I went to see Lavelle Crawford at the Helium. All of the Comedians, including LaValle, were awesome, hands down!
My concern is that it states on general admission tickets to arrive early in order to exchange your voucher for a ticket. I followed the directions, and I was the 2nd person in line. Usually, when you go to events, they have specific signs up for general admission, VIP, and reserve seating, not in this case. We were all grouped together until it was time to let everyone into the club. At that point, the security came out yelling instructions with no microphone to approximately 200 to 300 people trying to organize us according to our ticket purchase. At that point, I went from being 2nd to approximately the 25th person, all of the
unnecessary hassel could have been avoided
If there were signs in place. Business owners, "please," we got to do better! Lastly, they have a minimum of 2 item menu purchase rule. However, there's not enough servers nor cooks to keep up, WOW!!!!!

Great Show last night! Space little tight though. Food came fast was good for what it was. MIXED DRINKS WERE HORRIBLE! I've never had worst drinks ever. I got sick after trying to drink my Hurricane. Also I've heard from multiple people that the drinks are never the same twice, which doesn't make any sense. Please find competent Bartender

A great chain of comedy clubs. If you are looking to check out some terrific up and coming acts as well as touring professionals this is an awesome spot to check out and have a good laugh. Check out their website to find out their upcoming acts and get tickets.

Great comedy venue. I bought GA tickets and worried about getting early for a good seat. For the show I attended, they had a great system. When you arrive, they assign you to a group (A, B, C and so on. Then they call those groups and the host seats your party at a table. Really took the worry out of the process, especially for us anxious folks! For that I am grateful. Plus they brought me cold fries and I mentioned they were not good and immediately brought me out fresh, hot ones. So they made it right. It did surprise me where it was, in the basement at the Galleria. Who knew? I would certainly go back.

I had a great time!!

Very, very fun. I haven’t laughed that hard in ages!
