I met her this summer going to the Tree Hugger with my friend and figured she wouldn't have anything vegan, but she surprised me by offering us samples of her vegan cookies and talking about future plans for vegan options. She was kind enough to let us try out her vegan versions a bit later and they are amazing!! I can't tell you how exciting it is to find an option like this. Lisa is wonderful and her bourbon balls are absolutely delicious! You can't go wrong here.
Vegetarian options: Lisa is in the early stages (I think?) of offering vegan versions of some of the balls here. She was kind enough to let me order online and communicate via the order details and email that I wanted vegan versions. I'm not sure if all the offerings can be made vegan, but there were quite a lot and they are all phenomenal.

I met Lisa the day I learned about Bootleg Bourbon Balls. Being vegan, I always have to ask if new foods are safe for me to eat. Unfortunately, no one had requested VeganBourbonBalls before, but I was planning a party for my Honey‘s 50th birthday and thought those would steal the show.
Lisa spoke with her team (who were all gung-ho to try) and excitedly, a few weeks later, she let me know that they had developed and taste tested four flavors of VeganBourbonBalls - Rum Runner, Guilty Pleasure, Dame’s Dish, and Jitterball!
Immediately, I placed the order..
WHAT A HIT!! Our group of 13 loved the BourbonBalls! We legit devoured the tray within 24 hours!
The presentation was elegant and fun, strategically placed colors swirling on a reusable black party tray. Each mouthwatering flavor was a delectable, unique, “pop of party-in-your-mouth”. YUM!! WHAT A HIT!!

The bourbon balls are delicious! I ordered the 12 variety pack for a gift/birthday party and everyone enjoyed them. The balls were aesthetically pleasing and beautifully packaged. They were delivered with my Forks n Chill charcuterie board, which is a great collaboration! I would highly recommend!

I tried their Irish Cream Mini Loaf and it is was delicious. It's the perfect size to bring on a picnic for two and share with a cup of coffee or the drink of your choice. I really like how moist it is and the Irish cream taste soaked through the entire loaf, but it wasn't overpowering. The mini chocolate chips give it a good flavor and sweetness balance. I'll definitely buy this again and since it's packaged so nicely, is local and tasty, I am even thinking of buying a few loaves to gift to family members when I travel to see them.

We received the Kansas City Spirited Sampler, the Irish Cream Mini Loaf and Apple Whiskey Caramel Sauce. All were delicious. The Sampler provided a good variety of tastes. Everything was delicious without being overpowering. The chocolate tasted great with an appealing undertatse of bourbon. The loaf was also delicious. I with it was bigger since it was so good We especially enjoyed the Apple Whiskey Caramel sauce and put it on top of brownies and ice cream. Definitely recommend everything!
We LOVE Bootleg Noirbon Balls!! We found them during the pandemic and have ordered from them several times since, most recently a party tray for our daughter’s wedding reception. so yummy and a great way to support local!! We highly recommend!

We live on the West Coast and host a Super Bowl party each year. One of the special treats for our guests is to order dessert from the city/area for each of the teams playing. Thanks to the Chiefs great performances in recent years, I was worried I was running out of options...until I landed on the BBB page. I called Lisa - she was amazing with her recommendations, attention to detail, and shipping advice. We ended up ordering about six different flavors. The favorites were Dame's Dish and Hotsy Totsy.Lisa also suggested that I get an Irish Whiskey cake in the event some guests didn't want a bourbon ball. Fortunately, I ordered three of them. We cut them and served them up for everyone (a small slice for about 35 people). Multiple people went to my kitchen to look for more...with a couple even grabbing crumbs off of the cutting board. That pretty much speaks for itself.It's always a little stressful to be sure the plans come together and Lisa removed all of the stress for our Kansas City offering.Thank you Lisa for great products and amazing service!
