Excellent service and incredible food. Best meal delivery service I’ve ever used. But it’s expensive — that’s why I had to discontinue. If you can afford, it’s well worth the price.

As a single person household, Healthy Meals, Inc. has been a game-changer for me. It lets me enjoy incredible meals that I would never have thought of cooking for myself. The variety is a revelation—I’m not stuck eating the same thing over and over, which is usually the case when cooking for one. And honestly, the cost of buying all the ingredients just for a single meal would be exorbitant, not to mention wasteful.

What I love most is how these meals make me feel. It’s such an underrated form of self-care. The meals don’t feel like restaurant takeout; they taste like they were lovingly prepared by a chef in a home kitchen. There’s a distinct difference—no MSG or heavy flavors, just fresh, thoughtful, and balanced food. We have been using the Family Flex plan for almost four months now. I appreciate this service for so many reasons, not the least of which is waking up each morning to a fully prepared meal waiting for me on the porch. The meals are plentiful enough to feed two adults and two ravenous teenagers, sometimes with enough leftover for a lunch the next day. We get 3-4 meals delivered each week and I appreciate that we can change which days the meals are delivered around our family’s needs.The quality of the food is very good, and I feel we get a much wider selection of fresh vegetables in our meals than I’m able to get from non-local meal services like Hello Fresh. Plus any meal service where I don’t have to do anything other than heating the meal is a win! The last thing I love is how eco-friendly it is. The meals are delivered in zip-closed, heavy duty, insulated bags with reusable cold packs inside. These are reused to minimize waste. The containers our food are delivered in are aluminum or recyclable plastic, so those go into the recycling when complete as well. Gluten free, dairy free, not a problem. Don't like egg salad, but still like eggs? No problem. I love not having to plan healthy meals or worry about what I'm going to eat. I've been a client for years now and I have to say that Scott and his team are first class. Not only do they communicate well and often, the meal prep is on point.The menu selection is impressive, offering a wide variety even for those with certain allergies or restrictions The quality and taste of the food is exceptional and the portions are generous based on my needs.Overall, Scott and team provide a great and convenient experience with great tasting options and that's why I continue to come back time after time.

Meals are delicious and different every day. Snacks are often salads made with meat or vegetables that I would have never considered, but everything works. The occasional low-fat baked chips and a sprinkle of cheese is often enough to satisfy me. Sometimes breakfast is french toast or a smoothie; I never know what to expect, but it is always delicious. My gallbladder stays calm and it doesn’t feel like a lowfat (<30g) diet. The only thing I don’t like is that you can’t return the containers for reuse; it is unfeasable to keep so many. I wish they would find a way to sanitize and send them to meals on wheels or something. Other than that, I give 2 thumbs up!UPDATE: Wow! I read the 1 star review by the disgruntled prior employee. I ordered the meals to manage portions and total fat macros. My gallbladder has REVERSED damage since starting. Whether it’s pre-cooked or not, Applebees doesn’t serve me a 2.5 oz chicken breast with 2 tbsp of risotto, a daily snack of mystery vegetables salad, and brownies just frequently enough to stay compliant ?‍♀️ I stand by my review and 2 thumbs up.

Healthy Meals has so many benefits that that we didn't even realize we we signed up over 5 years ago. Of course, it's very convenient to to have a healthy well balanced meal prepared ready to eat. They are very good with the daily deliveries.One thing we didn't notice at first, but this is Huge!... We hardly have any trash anymore. We use to go to the store and buy our food. Sometimes a portion would end up in the trash that we didn't eat. Also all of the HM containers are stackable, reusable and recyclable. Now we hardly even have 1 full bag trash for trash day.Next we never have to make decisions or argue about what we going to fix for Lunch and Dinner everyday. This makes our lives much easier. No more last minute shopping trips to prepare a meal (not to mention cleaning it all up afterwards).We still get to cook our special meals (or go out to eat) on the weekends. So I still get to use my grill.Last but not least the meals are delicious. They make them to your needs. Any dietary needs and calorie intake you desire. They are easy to communicate to by phone or email. Whether you want a change or if you'll be out of town a few days.Thanks, Healthy Meals

I’ve been a customer off and on for several years now. As a busy professional, Healthy Meals has helped keep my diet and weight in check. It’s so nice to not have to plan my meals or think about my macros. The food is always good with great variety! The family meals are also a great option!

i’ve left this same review on google for others to read here as well, coming from an employees perspective whom of which spent 2+ years working at Healthy Meals.. please don’t let my alias (name) here on facebook invalidate my experience.. I work as an entertainer/musician and don’t quite take the internet seriously to use my real name.. however, everything i’m about to say in this review, is a very real representation of Healthy Meals Inc. and how they operate, I feel it is justified.. and that their clients really need to know how their food is prepared there, especially when they can go to Aldi, and grab everything they need from the frozen prepared foods sections.. I digress, here is some valuable TRUTHFUL information about this company, the owner, and it’s employees, everything they post online is clearly a facade; When i started working here I was way more experienced than the kitchen manager Anthony, at the time, who probably still works there, and was under paid $12/ hour coming in as a head chef from an all from scratch organic kitchen Conveniently Natural when they closed.. I took this job because I was young and naive and needed a similar job with the experience I had to transition into easily. That being said, Denise (another google reviewer/past employee) is right.. this place was a hell hole.. every meal was already prepared, came in frozen off the truck.. at times some peoples food allergies where ignored and they didn’t know they where being served things that contained ingredients that could possibly make them sick… Like I said, everything was made from frozen prepared food, fish pre breaded, chicken tenders where Tyson chicken tenders you buy from the store.. this company and employees don’t care about health at all. Especially the owner Scott Kluck, whom of which I would watch eat burgers or stuff down two philly cheesesteaks (in one sitting 🤮) in his office once a week- three times a week. You think someone who sold and pushed the idea of a healthy meal, would be healthy themselves, (this man has a beer gut and his version of working out is hitting the links while his minions do his bidding at Healthy Meals Inc. in Riverside.) Also, there’s a lot of drama that surrounds the owner Scott Kluck and his wife and their divorce.. it was impacting the work environment when I worked there, not sure how it is now. I remember her showing up to Healthy Meals drunk before 12, and having the cops called on her several times. At times she would sit in her mercedes parked outside and live in her car and watch us while we worked, every now and then stumble in drunk.. and Scott would call the cops. Scott Kluck was also very prejudice against me because of the color of my skin and my dreadlocks I had at the time which where for religious purposes, He would often treat me like a child, I would be 5 minutes into my break (15 min breaks is usually the norm and required for employees who work full time) but would yell at me to get back to work. The white employees would always get treated better and probably got paid more.. one time I asked a co-worker for a ride home while my car was in the shop and they replied “I’m not going to that side of town, sorry” (I lived at 35th and Paseo which isn’t bad at all, I guess to them this area was considered dangerous, and I can recall the term “hood” being used) I always felt bad for the dishwasher, he worked hard and would often walk home, he was very underpaid, under appreciated. (he was also mexican) I hope that he’s moved on, and is somewhere where his hard work is appreciated, if not.. hit me up bro. I’m leaving this review now because it just occurred to me I could, and i’m now richer than anyone that works here, including Scott Kluck who fired me via text with no warning issued what so ever, I woke up sick one day and suddenly didn’t have a job when I looked at my phone, This grown man couldn’t even fire me face to face let alone talk about what the issue was with me. Food is delicious! Great variety. Big servings. Delivered very early daily. Sounds counterintuitive, but my monthly food costs have gone way down for my family of 6. I couldn’t be happier!!
