My opinion not good. No flavor- Thai pad. Noodles were mushy, like they were sitting in water way too long. Do give lots of chicken in the combo. I enjoy Asian cuisine but this Pad Thai was not good and will not be returning here. Not worth the $$ paid. My family member had the Fried rice combo- same thing- no flavor. We threw it away. Very sad. FYI- Crag Rangoon is a sweet light taste. I would buy that again if I was hungry. It also sits right next to the smoking section- ugh

The shrimp fried rice and dumplings are delicious and I am picky!! I don’t understand why people are saying it has no flavor. It has onions, green onions, carrots, garlic, egg. It tastes better to me than local Asian restaurants! But the Asian workers aren’t friendly.

I had a few different experiences during my short stay. However, it was the conversation I just had with the lady at the front desk that has upset me most. After a day of being tired and developing a headache, I simply went to the front desk to mention that housekeeping should be more aware of their voice levels while turning over rooms. That I was woken, after being on the casino for till 4am, much earlier than I anticipated by their loud conversations in the hallway. And if they could be reminded that their could be sleeping guests still on the floor She basically belittled me for sleeping in and ridiculed me by saying I must not understand that this is a business and they have to turn over rooms quickly for the new guests. I explained, it was not the sound of cleaning but the personal conversations at a very loud level when there are guests still in bed. Based on that exchange and the other experiences during my stay... I would not recommend the Argosy, unless you are desperate for a hotel stay at a casino

Argosy Casino is beautiful inside with a great selection of games and eateries. Staff is fantastic. I've been going for 10+ yrs. The hotel and spa are very well kept and maintenanced. Plenty of parking.

The hotel isn't 5 stars, there are deductions for the room service menu on the TV not working, the access between the parking garage and the hotel lobby being far away and smelling like cigarette smoke, and the vending machines taking a long time to approve the credit card charges before dispensing $2 beverages. But the people who work there are seriously great. I'd booked a room and hoped for a view, which my booking didn't get me. Upon learning that the room I booked included a view of the parking lot, the women at the front desk checked around that evening's room availability, and gave me what was probably the nicest room on the property. Top floor with a beautiful view of KC out the window. High ceilings, comfy beds, solid WIFI, a good desk, a big TV, and an overall great stay. And as stated before in other reviews, the bathrooms are gorgeous with amazing showers. I'm not a gambler, I wasn't going to enjoy the casino, or spend money there, or go out to the restaurants. I just wanted a great place to rest up for a day. Sadly, I wrote the women's names down to mention them, but I can't find my notes now. I just want to highlight how much I enjoyed my room, their customer service, their friendliness, and to say thanks for a great stay.

Enjoyed my stay. Room was nice. Food was higher priced then should be. Shower is worth the trip. Rainfall and hot. Front desk was nice. Most of the employees were helpful. 99 hops had some good people working.

Have not had a bad visit since going. The staff and environment are great. The people you meet and have conversations with are very friendly too. The new rewards program is really working great. Been at different times of the day and always a great experience.

My sister, nephew and myself wanted a fun weekend in Kansas City and decided to stay at the Argosy Hotel and Casino. (The room was pricy…almost $500 which included a $100 refundable key deposit when keys were returned). But per the hotel description and I quote.. “Enjoy a stay in our newly renovated AAA Four Diamond award winning hotel, with the most luxurious amenities in the city. Offering refined elegance with modern conveniences, our 258 guestrooms and suites accommodate your ever whim. Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa truly is the best place to spend the night”. Wow! Staying in their “Luxury” newly renovated hotel is a really bad joke and a horrible experience after staying in many other “luxury” hotels. First. after having a frustrating night of gambling till midnight on Friday and a little bit hungry, there was NOWHERE to get a bite to eat (in a 24 hour casino?)? To top that off the next morning we had 1 regular and 1 decaf packet of coffee for 3 people and NO place to even find a late morning breakfast, even a bagel or a sweet roll. But the absolute insult was returning to our room (noticing dirty towels and overflowing trash cans outside room doors in the hallways) later the next afternoon and our rooms were exactly the way we left them that morning - no clean towels, no packets of coffee, nothing! The insult was calling the front desk to find out why our room wasn’t serviced and was told they don’t enter a guest’s room while they are checked in? You’re kidding me…so I asked about how to get fresh towels, coffee etc and was told that we could come down to the front desk and pick up sheets, towels, coffee, or whatever we needed…so I asked if someone could deliver to our room and she said no! I don’t think this hotel caters to their own policy of “accommodate your every whim” and definitely will never stay here again and advise anyone to stay away from this hotel AND casino. It was NOT the place to spend the night!

Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa. My stay was from 5/16/23 to 5/22/23. I ended up checking out on 5/20/23 and going to another hotel. Reasons where the spa area was closed and has been for a while. Hotel room was not serviced. Some of the workout equipment is broken and or rusty. A bolt to one of the pieces of equipment was laying on the floor. The equipment should be serviced and cleaned. No cleaner is available to sanitize the equipment. I believe that someone could end up with a serious injury using the workout equipment.

We booked this hotel from weds-sun during the NFL draft because the rooms were $99/night. Everywhere else close to the city was at least $300/night. So, we sorta figured this place wouldn't be a good place to stay... but at the price we just couldn't pass it up. We also saw the reviews here about it not being very clean or the staff not being nice. So, we were prepared for the worst. None of the horror stories that we read online came true for us. The staff wasn't super friendly, but they weren't bad. And the rooms weren't 5 star but we didn't expect them to be. We had no issues with water pressure or water temp in the showers. Room was actually very clean. You can tell that in general, this place is short staffed. For one, it isn't well maintained. For instance, there's marks on some of the walls in the bathrooms and they are eye-sores, and could easily be fixed with $5 worth of paint. And they told us as we checked in that they will not be changing our sheets or coming to our room at all unless we specifically requested. Also, they have a vaccumming robot that looks a lot like rosie from the jetsons, which was pretty cool. The bed was pretty comfortable and we didn't hear any noise from the hallways at all. There were some weed smells in the hallway but in the room, nothing. Overall it was a LOT nicer than we were expecting and we were all surprised. We were in a group of friends and had 3 different rooms, but all on the same floor in Deluxe Riverview rooms. We all had the same opinion really, and we'd come back to stay here again... especially at $99/night.

My husband and I eat here often, it is always fresh made. The food is sooooooo good, they are fast and very nice. I would definitely recommend at least trying it, the bad reviews are old. This place is awesome!

Poor service, blah food, false advertising, horrible comp program, and unclean surroundings suggest that you should keep going to any other local casino until this place decides they want to be in the entertainment and service industry again. Trust me.
