The staff went above and beyond to help my father access the venue in his wheelchair. They demonstrated warmth and compassion both upon our arrival and our departure. The venue and view are both gorgeous, but they are nothing compared to the amazing staff. I highly recommend!
Best place to spend the evening with serene view, live music and some quality wines!
$18 small basket of crackers with VERY LITTLE meat and cheese. WHAT A RIPOFF.
Will never return..
Food was great - we had the basket and Gorgonzola bites. The view was fantastic. On the constructive side, the door to the Aframe pushes open from the outside, so when your hands full it’s a challenge. No one helped which was a shame. A tray, side plates would have been great, but we ate the food on napkins. Presentation could be better even with minimal staff.
Beautiful place to relax and drink wine with friends. They provide some mosquito spray, but you may may want to bring with, just incase they are out?
We loved it, we stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon, were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Ordered food and were provided a ton of food for the price. The cheese olives and prosciutto were prepared quickly and the two of us had plenty and still took most of it home! Awesome view of the river in the shade and it was perfectly quiet. I’d imagine it’s a bit different on the weekends. The staff kindly warned us of mosquitoes and even provided us spray. Thank goodness, they were fierce, but quite bearable with the spray. A good suggestion this summer! We will certainly be back!
We don’t mind paying double the price for bottles that you could get at a local grocery store because we like the view and usually we like that we can get a charcuterie plate or something from the kitchen. Our most recent trip was a let down. 7pm beautiful evening, only 15-20 people there and the person at the counter refused to make anything from the kitchen “because they were way too busy” yet I saw her outside taking smoke breaks every ten minutes. The venue could also use a little TLC and upkeep of the grounds.
edit: we visited on Monday 6/10/24 around 6-6:30pm.
I hosted a team dinner for 24 people at The Blufftop last week. The food was fantastic! Everyone was raving about how great it was. The Catering Director, Tera, saw to it that we were well taken care of and made sure we enjoyed the evening. If you are looking for a great location to host your next event, this place has it all: delicious food, great service, excellent venue, and topped off with a beautiful view of the Missouri River.
Very beautiful little place ? ❤️
The food/ snacks were sub-standard, consisting of cheap crackers mashed with bits or supermarket cheeses in a fries paper box; but at a premium price. What a missed opportunity given the potential of the location…

When passing through the beautiful scenic spots discovered, you can sit by the river and enjoy the cool breeze while watching the beautiful scenery. For meals, there are simple sandwiches and burgers to choose from.
My daughter took us to The A Frame for our afternoon on Mother's Day. We had a lovely afternoon in the sunshine and fresh air. Our spritzer was cool and refreshing.
We came from Kansas City for mom’s weekend and had 9 folks in our party. Folks at the gate were rude about not bringing in food….ok we left it in the truck as we respect rules. We spent hundreds of dollars at the winery and as folks left we found tables in the tent area where our 9 plus and an additional 7 folks joined us. We knew the tent was reserved until 4 pm so we didn’t sit down in that area until after the reservation time was over. The manager on site very rudely asked us all to get up and leave! She advised that the time they had listed on the tent was wrong. Had we have known, we would not have sat in the tent. She was abrupt and extremely rude! We will advise all sororities and fraternities to utilize Serenity Valley as they have NEVER been rude and condescending as this place was to us. Mind you we spent over $800 at this winery. Poor customer service!! Do not go there!!! The owners need to talk to their staff!
What a disappointment. There was a college event going on… it was loud and obnoxious. And apparently, according to other reviews, this is a frequent “special event” that is reserved every few months or so— with no warning on the website or over the phone, since I did call and ask. The girls working the bar had no idea what was what, a lot of “uhhhhhh” going on, they weren’t personable or friendly, and tastings were not an option, though they didn’t seem very sure of themselves when answering the question. And they were sold out of most of the options? The only trashy winery I’ve experienced, what a shame for what a relaxing spot it could and should be. The “bathrooms” are dirty and tiny (not sure how any previous reviewers found this place clean, kind of baffling considering the layers of grime) and the whole property needs cleaning/up-keeping. Please just advertise yourselves as a college bar and be done with it so the rest of us don’t have to suffer.
Drove over 2 1/2 hours to a loud, chaotic event for college students. No indication on their site. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Staff couldn't care less and was not knowledgeable. I would avoid..
