I've been by twice lately (Dec 2024 and Jan 2025) and they've been closed when the hours showed they should have been open. I'm not sure if they are still in business as they also had a dish machine outside.

Brisket was a good portion; however, it came cold. The Collard greens had no bacon and onions in it as the menu described. The French fries were undercooked even though I had asked specifically for mine to be cooked a little longer to be crispy. The breaded chicken was a good portion size. They had no beer on tap at all. The waitress apologized for the delay in getting us ketchup as she had to empty the other bottles all into one bottle for us. The men's bathroom smelled and had no hand soap available. This would not be a place that I would go back to based on my first experience there.

I never cared to leave bad reviews, preferably just say nothing at all, but this place was not good at all. I think this place must be on its last leg. The first words out of our waitresses mouth was, I don't think we are out of anything, strike 1. I ordered a draft beer only to find out the CO2 was not working. There was no acceptable brew in a bottle I preferred, only in a can, strike 2. I ordered the brisket sandwich with slaw on the sandwich (the waitress just asked if I wanted the slaw on the sandwich or on the plate but never said it was an extra $2 for it, strike 3. My actual side was collard greens with onion and bacon that came with no onion and no bacon, strike 4. The brisket, while a huge portion, was served cold, strike 5. It's a wonderful building along the Missouri River with plenty of artwork dedicated to local famous Blues Artists. That was the only high point. We definitely will not go back.

Food was good and quick. The wings were quite frankly the best I’ve had. Smoked than fried. Perfect size, not too big. Not to small. The sweet and spicy chili homemade sauce was the best hands down! The brisket had great flavor and not super fatty. Bbq baked beans were good also. Prices super reasonable! I will be back next time in town!
Kid-friendliness: Seemed like a nice kid friendly place. Not overly fancy or expensive. Salt of the earth people here. Good environment!

Good BBQ and drinks
Let me start off by saying that the atmosphere was warm and inviting. My
drink was perfectly made and
the food, I had ribs and brisket, that were so tender and juicy and the proportion was just right.Topping all that was the great customer service, our bartender/server I think her name was Megan ,was warm courteous and friendly. I will definitely return with all my friends and family in tow!!!!

I recently dined at Hendricks BBQ, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with the warm, smoky aroma of their delicious BBQ, which set the perfect tone for our meal.
The menu offered a wonderful selection of smoked meats, and I decided to try the brisket and ribs combo. Both were cooked to perfection! The brisket was incredibly tender and juicy, with just the right amount of seasoning, while the ribs had that perfect char and fell off the bone with every bite. The homemade BBQ sauce was the cherry on top — sweet, tangy, and packed with flavor!
The sides were equally impressive. The mac and cheese was creamy and delightful, and the coleslaw added a refreshing crunch that balanced the meal beautifully. And let’s not forget about the cornbread – it was fluffy and slightly sweet, making it the perfect accompaniment.
The service was top-notch as well. Our server was friendly and attentive, ensuring our drinks were always filled and that we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it a great spot for families or a night out with friends.
If you’re a BBQ lover, Hendricks
BBQ is an absolute must-visit! I can’t wait to go back and try more of their delicious offerings. Highly recommended!

Took an hour to get food it was mediocre at best. Half the table of 7 got their food and the other half had to wait 10 more minutes. It took me asking for silverware to get it. Almost felt forgot about first time going and won’t be back

We are there last week it’s always great, but the service this one time was subpar. Maybe we had a new waiter, but it was difficult to get refills and ask for more food.
Other than that we love this place.

This used to be my favorite restaurant, but unfortunately have to rescind that rating. I used to rave about their brisket, but well...see for yourself. Looks more like tree bark to me. Unfortunately this is not an isolated incident, but a pattern over the last few years. I still have hope that they will regain their former glory :')
