Hotshots Sports Bar & Grill

I went to watch the Cardinals game and really enjoyed the energy the staff had. My bartender Destiny was amazing and very fast. It caught my my attention that the manager Chris really interacted with the customers and got them involved in a bag tournament. My pizza was cooked to perfection it is worth the visit.

Waitress was wonderful. I forgot to grab her name. Female white, brown hair, giant rack, no tats. Salad looked great but the chicken seemed petrified. Weird. Yuck. 30 wings were awesome. Drinks were great. Watched soccer. USA lost. Some attention seeking loser kept yelling. Otherwise it was a very good time.

It was literally my destiny to be served by Destiny.

From the moment she came over, the vibes were right. Friendly, attentive, and effortlessly on top of everything. Drinks never went empty, food came out perfect, and she handled a busy night like a total pro without ever making it feel rushed.

What really made the experience stand out was her energy—warm, genuine, and fun in a way that makes you feel like you picked the right place to be. You can tell she actually cares about her guests, and that makes all the difference.

Hotshots is already a great spot, but Destiny absolutely elevated the night. We’ll definitely be back—and if fate has anything to say about it, Destiny will be our server again 🍻✨

My wife and I needed lunch while in St. Charles. Hotshots was close so we stopped by. We were glad we did!! The food was excellent with generous portions and Sarah, our server was outstanding!! She had a lot going on, and it was her birthday but she made sure we had everything we need. Will definitely go again.

I love going to Hotshots for drinks and social ambiance. However, there were a couple of incidents that were truly disappointing. The first one was when we were there late until closing, which is 1:30 AM. We were the last ones in the place and were playing music which costs $1/per song (not cheap!). They shut down the music at 1 AM - which I think is appropriate. What I found inappropriate was that they don't allow the last song to finish playing considering that customers pay for it. I was told the manager is strict about it when I shared that they should at least allow the song to finish rather than shutting it down abruptly after one has paid for it - it is part of customer service considering we are paying for it and it is only a coule of minutes that wouldn't change their appropriate policy.

The second incident happened with a server named Mackenzie, whom I met the night of the song incident. A few friends and I were there celebrating a birthday. At first we sat at a table and were serviced by a wonderful server and paid our bill (didn’t get her name). Then more friends arrived and we decided to stay and play some pool. I requested to get the same server but MacKenzke told me that she was now off the clock and she was now the only server on the that side of the bar. When I tried to order from her she said that if I wanted fast service I should order from the bar because she was very busy. I did so with no problem. Once at the pool table (the first one in far right when facing them), we received absolutely no service from her. She would not even look our way, yet was tending to all the other pool tables. I approached her to ask why she wasn't serving us as we wanted to order drinks. She claimed that our pool table was not part of her section and that another server was. When I approached the other server to place orders, she was taken aback because Mackenzie was indeed supposed to be our server. It was evident that she was blatantly ignoring us and did not want to provide us with service. The other server had to make an exception and tend to us even though she was not supposed to.

We are of Latino descent and I am personally new to St. Louis, a place that is known for racism. Last night, at Hotshots and through Mackenzie's treatment, was the first time that I felt discriminated against so openly. We received very foul treatment and I felt uncomfortable.

I was compelled to write this review because we go to Hotshots fairly frequently. We invest our time and money in the business like every other person who goes there. We treat our servers well and always leave tips. I also don't want this type of treatment to happen again or to boycott a place I enjoy so much for this reason.

Other servers there showed kindness and tried to make up for Mackenzie's rudeness, but it took various walks to the bar to complain for the lack of service- which should not have happened in the first place. We are paying customers and should be treated with the same courtesy and attention as other customers, regardless of how we look and what language we speak - and this treatment should be offered by ALL employees.

I hope this level of disappointment doesn’t happen again and don't want Mackenzie to be my server ever again.

We hosted my dad’s surprise 60th birthday party at Hotshots St. Charles, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience from start to finish.

From the very beginning, Chris (manager) was incredible with communication leading up to the party - clear, responsive, and so easy to work with. When I arrived to set up, another manager, Chris, went above and beyond. He helped with everything we needed, checked in constantly, and was so professional and genuinely kind. He was so accommodating & took all of our requests to make our night the best! On top of that, the first Chris, who wasn’t even working that night, still stopped by to drop off tablecloths and make sure everything was going smoothly. That level of care is rare.

Our server Ariel was absolutely amazing. She handled 70+ people effortlessly, was incredibly kind, attentive, and even joined in on the fun with our group. She truly made the night feel special.

The entire team made this celebration unforgettable. We felt supported, taken care of, and welcomed the whole night. I cannot recommend Hotshots St. Charles enough for events—or honestly, for any visit. We’ll definitely be back!
