It’s been a couple of years since I last visited a Llywelyn’s, but I used to be a regular over a decade ago during my college days. I even hosted birthdays in the bank vault and made a point to visit every location they had back then. So when my husband and I recently decided to stop by the Main Street St. Charles location, I was hoping for some good ol’ nostalgia—but sadly, it’s just not what it used to be.

My food was subpar and a little over cooked but granted it was busy, the atmosphere and servers hospitality completely makes up for it, this I a lovely and fun place to visit with friends, also the vault in the basement is super cool

Last night about ten of us went in and everything was amazing. Our server was fantastic and even with it being a busy Saturday night, she kept drinks refilled and was very attentive. When our food came out the food runner got bumped in to and one of my friends got some soup on her jacket. It was no big deal accidents happen it was no one’s fault but the manager Lauren went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. I truly was surprised the lengths she went to...
