A great local candy, ice cream, and gift store. The two ladies that own this store have done an excellent job training their young staff and do make phenomenal sweets as well. They are worth the drive from Lake St. Louis.

I went and tried some fudge today down at Riverside Sweets today. The store is very cute, it's all Christmasy and whatnot but the service left something to be desired. The girl who first greeted us did not seem pleased at all to be serving us. Which I get, customer service sucks after doing it all day but it gets to a point, being straight up rude isn't really ok. The fudge itself was a really big let down, the consistency was terrible. It straight up ripped apart. It was just gross, kinda grainy honestly. I didn't try anything else so I can't speak for their other sweets but the fudge is awful, don't get it

Chocolate covered cherries were cheap dry marchino cherries. No fondant! Coconut clusters were also dry...very little coconut. Fairy food was quite good. Overalll, not going back.

I've had several of their things and I will say hands down their caramels and toffee is the best I've ever had.

We tried pirate’s treasure icecream scoop and cappuccino .. icecream was good .. but hot coffee was given in thermacol cup it was bad could only taste the cup .. loved the decor they were selling though

Strangely enough, this sweets shop is one of our favorite places to look for holiday decor. Their Halloween stuff is usually VERY good (they carry vintage style products from artists like Johanna Parker) and their Christmas stuff is even better.
In fact, outside of dedicated Christmas Stores, this place has the single best selection of Christmas wall art and paintings than any place I've been to.
Their sweets are great too!
This is a must stop if you are on Main Street.

Super easy to find. They have a downstairs where you can eat your ice cream or milkshake and sit down like a restaurant. Or they have an upstairs where they have ice cream and milk shakes, candy, chocolate covered strawberries, taffy, and a thousand other sweet treats. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the milk shake wasn't as sweet as I was hoping. Other than that the girl that helped us was super friendly and helpful!
