Rich's Famous Burgers

Burgers definitely lived up to the hype, wish I had tried the PB & J Burger. Fresh lemonade is the best I have had short of home made. Free ice cream with kids meal and Gooey Butter Cake finished off everything nicely. Staff was awesome!!

Honestly one of the worst burgers I’ve ever had. The menu is strange, the food is overpriced, and it’s just not worth it. If you’re in the area, save your money and head to Tokyo Hibachi instead — their burgers are way better.

We drive from St Louis to Lake of the Ozarks & enjoy stopping here to grab a bite. Food is really good & waiter Mathew is a fantastic waiter we look forward to seeing. His customer service & great smile is much appreciated by us. Employees like Mathew are what will keep us coming back. You won’t be disappointed, ask for Mathew, he has that great smile & energy!

Fantastic burger and great service.

Their secret is simple: use good beef.
Burgers are excellent. Same with the loaded potato. We had been meaning to go for awhile and weren't disappointed. We will be back and our friend who joined us plans to take his family there even though he lives further away. Service is very friendly. We went to the St. James location. I'm sure they're all good.

Although they weren't very busy, the service wasn't that good. They couldn't get either of
our orders correct. Even the correction was wrong. Food was ok, not great. Won't be back.

One of my favorite places! I never imagined the Jam Burger would be the best burger I’ve ever had. My go-to order is the Jam Burger with garlic cheese curds, served with a refreshing lemonade. The food is not only delicious but also the service is fantastic, and the place is always spotless.

Food was great

I want to start off with a positive in saying the burgers were good. Now let’s get into the negatives, first of all they were not very busy at all but we stood at the front door for about 5 minutes before anyone greeted us, we ordered an appetizer of cheese curds and our meal. The meal took probably about 30 minutes to come out and they had completely forgot about the cheese curds, I let them know and they said they would give us a discount and they said they were sorry so we tried to just move on. We thought it would be a few more minutes and then we would get our cheese curds but no, we finished our entire meal before we even got the cheese curds, we were already ready to leave before they arrived but we still waited and tried 2 or 3 because we were already full from our meal hoping that the discount would be worth the wait, just for whenever we got the bill for it to have a 1 dollar off discount of our 12 dollar cheese curds and our 50 dollar meal. We couldn’t enjoy the curds at all because of their constant mistakes with them just for them to give us a slap in the face discount, if I would’ve known how small the discount was I would have told them to cancel it completely. This was unacceptable. I get it may have been an employee discount but still. Along with the whole cheese curds debacle, all of our tater tot’s were not even warm at the slightest and my son’s grilled cheese was cold. A pretty horrible experience from a place that seems to have so much potential. I hate to leave such a bad review for a place like this but whenever you mess up someone’s order and experience this bad you have to do better than just giving them a dollar from the 50 they spent, that’s just greedy.

We were traveling and stopped in here a few weeks ago and honestly still thinking about it. The staff were so kind and the food was incredible!!
They brought my one year old some French fries before we even ordered just as a snack to keep him happy. I got the Italian beef sandwich and my husband got the catfish. Both were huge portions and absolutely delicious!

A friend recommended this place, and it seems like a popular local spot. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. The burger was really unique—I didn’t expect it to come on toasted bread instead of a regular bun!

Our server was kind and explained the menu before bringing out the food, which we really appreciated. Even the cola tasted great!

Nah. I’ve tried a lot…. No more. The little blonde has an attitude and the food isn’t worth dealing with it. It’s friends leaving nice reviews… the food is ehh. 5/10

Told us she closes soon…. She just didn’t want people in the restaurant anymore. Get a different job. You’re terrible at it.

They need a manager or at least someone in charge who knows how to handle customers and traffic flow. We called at noon and were told a table of 8 for dinner would not be a problem. Not true and they did not take reservations.
