I have always loved this place since I was a kid! Possibly 40 years. Their mint chip is the best ever. I live in stl and come visit family in stj and always try to get my fix of Ruby's!!
Beautiful little ice cream shop! Very delicious ice cream, tried the butter pecan and strawberry cheesecake and was some of the best ice cream I've had! It's made in house. The sweetest, friendliest and most helpful staff! Absolutely awesome service! Want to go again sometime!
They have lots of yummy flavors, including one with pop tarts pieces as the special. I picked a flavor that was a bit melted/re-frozen, so it had ice bits in it. I could have said something since we ate there, but didn't. The waffle cones are tasty. My biggest complaint is that they do not offer free cups of water (you must buy bottles). I almost always want water after eating ice cream, plus it was a hot day.
