Ichiban Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar

This is not as good as it used to be. I noticed that they had some type of heavy sauce on the vegetables and on the filet mignon they had some type of heavy sauce. I did not order teriyaki or anything. You do pay a lot of money and so you do expect something to be edible. My husband had to throw away his vegetables When he got home because of the heavy sauce that was on them. It was a brown sauce and we didn’t order any sauce on it. It had been a while since we’ve been, but we were gonna start going again. Now we will not be going ever again.

10-10 recommend. Me and my two sons had never been to a Hibachi restaurant, so my husband and our friends took us there for my birthday last night and I can't say enough good things about it. Everything was top notch! Such an awesome 1st time experience and we can't wait to go back!

I had only eaten here a couple times, but last night resulted in unseasoned instant garlic mashed potatoes which not even the amount of salt I poured in saved it with any flavor, just to be followed up with a bone inside the chicken teriyaki. I was informed they come precut from their distributor and they have no control over whether or not their precut chicken breasts have bones in it or not. The bone was verified by the staff and the other guests eating there. We opted to just not eat there again, but myself and my partner also been sick with stomach issues since eating there last night to put the icing on the cake.

Sushi is great! However, don't know if they changed their Wasabi brand or something. It's not as spicy and more bitter than usual the past two times we've been there.

I stopped in for a cocktail and an appetizer. I had the wasabi peppered tuna. It was fantastic. I ordered a mai tai. Not what I was used to for mai tais. Just too sweet for my taste. Great spot. It was a little quiet.

Server forgot the lemon with my water and there was a whole bowl of it on the tray lol. Having that been said, I have eaten here twice and both times the food was phenomenal. Only had the sushi but my ex had the fancy, expensive meat meal and I was not impressed. Can't speak on the hibachi grill. Overall I'd recommend for great sushi.

The staff we encountered, from the person who greeted and seated us to our waiter, were wonderful and so friendly. They are awesome and deserve 5 stars! I just wasn't a fan of the food and our dining experience.
