It was so hot when we got there that the flies were lined up at the door to get out of the heat. I thought it was going to be bad eating with flies flying around but once they flew in the door, they nosed dived to the floor because of the air conditioning. So we had a good BBQ meal with no bugs. If you're traveling by, it's worth the stop.

Dear God, we aren't native to the area and the gal that took our order was SO helpful in getting us to share items and get the most for our dollar and try the most items.

I ordered the premium combo platter, which includes two meats and two sides. The portions were quite sizable, but a little dry and pretty low on flavor. I got the pork, which was tender enough, but had little smoke flavor, was dry in texture, and relies on the sauce to give it any flavor. Now I am not a fan of sweet bbq sauce, and this was the typical overly sweet tomato based sauce with probably liquid smoke for aroma....
